I love it again

Well…. The cat finally came around and I got it! Definitely work out that algorithm for the poor saps that don’t have it when they’re trying to compete in those specific levels. I loved it for a hot minute. I got the monthly pass and other little ticket packages. But on level 459, I am unable to pass. I didn’t buy the cat mecha machine in the beginning and it’s impossible to pass this stage without it. They always let me get almost past it and every time, back to 3, 4 and 5 cats that are impossible to beat. I have patience like no other, but this is insane. The new squads thing is weird. How am I supposed to add team members? I haven’t really delved into as I’m deciding if I’m even going forward. Thanks so much and I hope the cat glitch is fixed cause the emojis are showing red faces in this level. Update: to be clear, these are running levels with 4 or more long running. You literally cannot win when you’re the only one against the cats. I bought the extra tickets for the event and you used the same level and matched me with cats, so I blew through the tickets with no hope. Now I have another just like it. All cats. This hasn’t come up except the initial week or so at a $50 price. So m pretty bummed. Nothing can beat the cats when there’s four or more stretches of running without other racing methods I.e. flying, climbing. Etc. the algorithm is unfair with cats.

“Hi” App game developers how are all of you doing hope you all are doing alright and not working too hard. Anyway all I want to say is that I hope this Review get to you all or to one of you Anyway I have a pocket champ issue so be glad I came to you all about this issue. :-) So issues being which I really hoping that app game gets fixed and updated possibly soon. So as I was gonna say is that last time I played I don’t know if it’s my phone or the game I’m just assume it’s the game so last time I played Pocket Champ 😕🫤😕🫤😕 I heard a weird noise in case you wonder not in the start of the game but at main game screen 📺 when the game character looked like it was sleeping 💤 is when I heard the weird sound in case you wonder what did the weird noise sound like “well I think 🤔 it sounded like a continuous beating sound” if that helps anyway I did delete it ok please please please fix it and update it please fix it to where it won’t make anymore weird noise ok I’d greatly appreciate it it’s a really great game. 👱🏻‍♀️🤩👍🏻 so again please fix and update it it’s a really great game best part about it. “It seems to play itself which is great I just tap the emoji ha” but yeah please fix that that be really great. Keep up the great work guys. All you app developers are doing a great job 👏🏻 keep it up.

Great Game BUT Inappropriate Ads

Everything about the game is good so far. The concept is fun. The characters are adorable. The items you can earn are helpful and imaginative…frustrating when everyone else has an item and you can’t pass a level without it and you have no control over when you can earn it/find it. Not too easy but not too challenging. BUT…the ads in this game are extremely inappropriate. My children play the game with me and we are constantly having to place the game screen side down because of the content in the ads. Drama box ads have sexual relationships including people in bed together and inappropriately dressed people. During Christmas time those ads disappeared for a week only to be replaced with bra and underwear ads for adults. Emphasizing cup sizes for women and closeup images of males wearing underwear as well. An ad for Passion Solitaire was indicating undressing women and showing inappropriately dressed women as well. This game is rated for ages 4+. The ads are 18+. And even I as an adult do not want to be accosted by them continuously. This is something that NEEDS to be addressed and fixed. I have reported the ads as being inappropriate via the correct channels on the game. We will see if this issue gets fixed.

Cheats

This game cheats. It goes above and beyond with increasing difficulty in competitions to make sure you lose consistently in hopes that the user will spend money on bags and chest. The bags and chest are mysteries. There is no guarantee you will get what you need to become competitive amongst other players. example you can build up your character with points earned in different categories to make your champ competitive, you could also earn gadgets that will aid you in winning races and earning points. Now here’s the trick you will win and win and win and then all of a sudden when they big prizes on the Line. stop winning. You will be placed amongst others. that have higher rankings and access to more advanced gadgets. You will lose every time until you start spending money you spend money and you get what you need and then it’s no longer valuable. You spend money again then you don’t get what you need you spend some more money then you don’t get what you need and so psycho that doesn’t stop. It is a very sick practice and they need to be sued because it’s predatory. Imagine your kid using your card and spending 100s of dollars on this game trying to win and it’s a never ending cycle so be warned. Do not get caught up and winning. Just enjoy the game because to their credit it is fun, but do not get caught up in the competitive and winning. It is a game to occupy your hands and your time while you waiting and have nothing to do nothing more nothing less.

Awesome Game with a few bugs

I have only been playing Pocket Champs for a few days but I already love it. It reminds me of the Duck Life games on Cool Math where you upgrade your duck’s running, climbing, swimming, and flying in order to win races and tournaments. I used to play Duck Life games all the time with my friends growing up in school, so this game brings back some good memories. However, there are some bugs in the game that I would like to address. 1) The game has crashed on me on numerous occasions. 2) Eventually, after the game has crashed on me many times, when I try to get back into the game, it acts like I am just starting the game and it asks me to accept the terms of the game. Then, since the game thinks I’m a new player, it resets my tournament positioning. So far, I’ve only made it to contender because it resets my position back to rookie when I have reached contender if the game crashes enough. When this happens, I still retain my points for that day but I am in an entirely different tournament and I have a lot of catching up to do because I am a lot of points behind. This is frustrating to deal with because I would like to get to higher tournaments to earn better rewards but I haven’t been able to so far. I hope that these bugs will be addressed because I really enjoy this game and I believe that it has a ton of potential. Thanks.

Crashing Out Bc Y’all Are Cheaters

I’ve been playing this game for a year and overall, it has been very fun and addicting to play. However, more recently I have found that it is nearly impossible to progress, let alone beat, any event despite being well into the top 1%. What set me off into writing this was their gadget ascent event, which was running fine when it was first released, but now opponents (assumed bots) are clearly getting double buffs that do not apply to standard players. Most races I have done in this event, I end up in 4th-6th place as my opponents are getting bonuses on their gadgets that aren’t listed on top of the bonus that is. In my last race, four of us had the same extended use bonus type, we end gadget use at the same time (I’m in first cause I have better stats), then magically the other three players get a +1 use to their item. It is very unfair and sketchy for the devs to make all their bots overpowered just so you are forced to spend money to compensate for their extra buffs and is discouraging to see an app become so greedy to the point where my 100+ hrs of gameplay is trashed. I do not know if this effects the lower ranks as I have only noticed this transition in the last couple months, but just be warned that when you get to higher levels you will lose almost every event no matter how much training you’ve done. Thankfully, this does not apply to the standard racing only events hence 2 stars.

A game that plays you instead of you playing it

This game is a great way to pass the time it doesn’t take too much effort really none at all but what I’ve noticed is you’re not playing against real people idk if it’s recorded races from past players or completely robotic AI but what i can tell you is this game has a weird way of taking your level and what you’re capable of and putting you against players that are just better then you ive been stuck in one spot for days i have upgraded the necessary gadgets and ive added about 30-40 points into my character and some how some way im still just behind the competition it seems like this games takes however good you are and rigs you so you cant win in a way to artificially slow down progress it could be to add challenge but what challenge you aren’t really in control when you race and I’ve already did my grind to get my character up the only thing i can think of is they do this in a way to frustrate you into spending money ill spend money on a game i enjoy but dont rig my game to consistently make me win and then suddenly consistently make me lose over and over again I’ll delete your app before im forced into buying a chest in hopes of getting a jetski just to win a race

Overall super fun and addicting, but event races can be disheartening

The game is great, it’s fun and unique for choosing your strategies based on your tools and skills available. It does a great job of matching you with people of your own skill level in the normal races, and as with any sport you must level up your character to continue climbing the general latter. However - in some of the tournaments (such as seeking a Hall of Fame item you need to give you an edge in future races) the algorithm seems to put you at huge disadvantage as you get closer to achieving it. After repeated observation of this, I played an event for a hall of fame item 12 times in a row and never once had an opponent with fewer than a 100 power point advantage, and only twice did they use a weaker gadget. It’s disheartening to have a challenge seem so unbalanced when the standard races are very fairly done… and I’m not talking about the XL races with many participants, these are 6 on 6. Feels like a push to make me buy upgrades rather than grind on them. This has happened on many, many levels from 2000 power to over 5000 power. Makes an exciting progression a horse-chasing-the-carrot situation. Overall fun and addicting, some player matching optimization would be recommended
