Pepp Heroes: Relic Quest is a charming, snack-sized RPG that perfectly fits the 'play on the bus' lifestyle. The 8-bit aesthetic is bright and clean, avoiding the muddy look of some retro clones. What I appreciated most was the character variety—the 50+ heroes aren't just palette swaps; they have distinct skill sets that make team building a legitimate strategic endeavor. The 'Relic' system provides a great secondary goal, encouraging exploration off the main path.
