The Pango series has always been a staple in our household, and 'Pango plays soccer' is no exception. It’s less of a 'game' and more of an interactive experience that encourages curiosity. The hand-drawn art style is charming and lacks the over-stimulating flashes found in many modern kids' apps.
What I appreciate most is how it encourages different types of tactile interaction—sometimes you're rubbing the screen to clean something, other times you're tilting to move Pango. It's gentle, funny, and perfect for a bedtime activity. While the soccer theme is the hook, the core of the app is about friendship and simple problem-solving. It’s a premium experience that feels safe for my kids to explore on their own.
5 animated stories plus 1 bonus game
No stress, time limits, or competition
Parental controls and no third-party ads
When a character stops moving, look for a flashing object. Tap or swipe it to trigger the next part of the adventure.
After finishing the stories, players can unlock a bonus soccer game to practice their timing and coordination.
It is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old.
We have loved the Pango books. I do believe that in this one it was a poor decision to use the word liars. This is after all a book for small children. While my little girl thought it was funny to hear the animals toot and burp, this was not what I expected from a small child's book. I don't understand what direction they were trying to go in this Pango book.
