Great Game For All Ages

I’m usually more of a crossword type. I play Simple Play Crossword Jam everyday and love it. There was a promotion to have players try other Simple Play games and this one looked interesting. I’m now addicted to two of Simple Play’s word games. I have tried hundreds of games and these are definitely my favorite.

Sneaky and dishonest

Original game Wonders of the World worked great — for I think 14 levels then said there was an update. Kinda weird, updates don’t work like that. Pursued the “update” since the program wouldn’t let me continue otherwise. Then I was presented with a new and different app. It wasn’t actually an update at all. The promise with WoW was no ads. I fully expect this new app to deliver ads. Maybe it won’t, but there us some reason fir the deception. They could have called it a new version to replace the current one. They should have announced it in the beginning. They should give the choice to play the old one; or remove it it call it legacy that won’t be supported. So many upfront options they had — if they are proud of their new app and want to promote it. Their sneaky manipulation makes me want nothing to do with them. Oh, and as a side note, there’s no way to turn off the sounds. The old program did allow that, so removing that option was a choice.

I absolutely LOVE this game beyond belief. It always gives me something to do when I’m bored or waiting for something to come up or whatever. It’s just fantastic! However, there is one thing that isn’t so great: whenever I get to the point where I’m really stuck and need some help, and help is offered to me, for some reason I can’t tap on the play lightbulb anymore. I thought it was only on one level, so I was like “aarg, whatevs..” But now it’s done it to me in several levels. So could you guys help me out with this, please? As I said tho, I absolutely love this game. It’s such a fantastic way to dawdle my time away!

I love this game for its beauty, its difficulty, it organization. I currently have three crossword games going which I play to challenge my mind. Sometimes I amaze myself ! I have played word games for decades. Now for my rant. After each puzzle is solved there is time-wasting flashing lights on the home page. This game has timed challenges. Please let us get on with the competition. Loose the little flashing lights. Thank you.

Great use of time

A great use of my time with multiple sclerosis when lying in my bed is playing word games on my phone! I love passing the time & using my brain. My fingers are fast from years of typing at the office while working for PSIPC formerly the Waring 18 plus years.

There are TONS of ads. If you need a hint there are ads. Finish a gam? Ads. The game gets more challenging as you progress. BUT.. SO DO THE ADS? 30 second ads. 90 second ads. I timed it and average is over a minute to almost 3 minutes. You collect coins as you go forward. HOWEVER to store the coins you must purchase a holder for the coins. Otherwise you can't use all your coins. Between the ads and the random purchases you must make it's not worth to play.

If you like ads, this app is for you! When the play time is less than the ad you must sit through for the next level…..thank the stars for the delete button. Even being able to skip the first 25 level to get to a more difficult level, still not a challenge. Bottom line is simple….develop an app that is not riddled with ads. There are some out there. Now for that delete button….

I downloaded this app and started playing I really liked it and I am not normally a games person. I got thru the first level and it switched to the next. I only played about 3 levels and an ad came up I couldn’t close the ad so I closed the game and went back in 1 level and an ad I couldn’t close. No thanks I loved the game but I am not going to put up with ad after ad you can’t close. What a disappointment!
