Thank you for playing my game!
Numsol is a refreshing departure from the cluttered, ad-heavy card games that usually populate the store. Its minimalist approach is its greatest strength, offering a 'zen' experience that focuses entirely on the logic of numbers. By stripping away the suits and traditional card aesthetics, it forces you to think differently about sequencing and tableau management. It feels like a cross between Solitaire and a sliding block puzzle.
The game is perfect for 'brain training' because it requires a few steps of forward-thinking to ensure you don't block yourself into a corner. The ambient soundtrack and lack of timers make it a great way to unwind before bed. While it might lack the 'flashiness' of bigger titles, its purity of design makes it a permanent resident on my device for when I just want to think without distractions.
Clean, distraction-free minimalist design
Infinite levels of logic-based puzzles
Daily brain training challenges
Relaxing, ambient soundtrack
Easy-to-learn, hard-to-master numerical rules
The goal is to move all cards to the foundation piles starting from 1. Use the tableau columns to stack cards in descending order to reveal the ones you need hidden underneath.
Creating an empty slot in your tableau is vital. Use it to temporarily park a high-value card that is blocking access to a sequence of lower numbers, allowing you to free up the foundation cards.
It uses the same 'foundation' concept but focuses entirely on numbers rather than suits or colors.
An amazing take on a well established 2048 theme amongst gaming. The developer cares and does not take money from you. You can pay a modest fee to remove ads if they bother you, which they don’t and are done very tastefully. Also, you can receive 3 undo credits for watching one short video. That’s it, no more monetizing after those things. I like the game most because there is no end, it has unlimited replay value. The more you win the higher the difficulty gets and it’s very rewarding whenever you win. Excellent work and a perfect game with a stellar developer.
Its a decent game with not many ads
I immediately paid the fair price to remove ads. Game is perfect for when you have a few minutes. It could use a little battery optimization, but it’s tolerable. Also it doesn’t remember your settings (you have to turn off sound each time, for example). Still, it’s a clever game that’s designed and monetized well, and I appreciate that. Like others have said, though, I wish you could move cards to an empty stack. It’s still fun though.
I’m always looking for a new unique card game. This ones pretty good, but I do agree with another reviewer: we should be able to move onto an empty cell. At least the highest card should be able to move. Otherwise, there’s no way to win when all your small cards were delt on the bottom.
It’s a very interesting idea and it’s fairly well executed, but it isn’t particularly engaging that the trial and error method that the levels seem to require gets old very fast.
Could’ve used instructions but doesn’t take long to figure out. Fun game
Maybe if you can move a stack to an empty slot like in Solitaire???
I paid to have the ads removed but I still get ads.
