[New Doll] Shale
The specialist A-PI Doll was developed internally by Svarog Heavy Industries' Energy Division. Its primary functions included prospecting for, extracting, and refining fossil fuels, covering every link in the fossil fuel industry. Like many specialized Dolls developed by Svarog Heavy Industries, the A-PI's design emphasized repairability and durability under hostile work conditions. In addition, multiple suites of internal modules and external equipment were developed for it. Since the fossil fuel industry was still quite large in the 2050s, the A-PI did not suffer the lack of demand which many industry critics had predicted, instead maintaining a stable sales volume.
As one of the initial A-PIs, Shale was purchased and employed by a major oil company that was affiliated with Svarog Heavy Industries. However, due to cutbacks in 2059, Shale was made redundant. She was recovered by Svarog, and was then sent to Project Neural Cloud.
Neural Cloud is one of the most refreshing gacha RPGs I've played in a long time. The roguelike combat system is the star here—instead of just watching your units fight, you are constantly making choices about which 'Function' buffs to pick up between battles. This adds a level of strategy that most auto-battlers lack, as a good set of buffs can help a weaker team take down a boss.
The production values are top-tier. The character designs (Dolls) are intricate, and the 3D models during combat are adorable yet well-animated. The story is surprisingly somber and engaging, dealing with the digital consciousness of dolls in a collapsed network. It’s generous with its premium currency, making it a very friendly title for those who don't want to spend a fortune to be competitive.
Innovative roguelike-inspired combat
Stunning 3D character models and environments
City-building 'Oasis' system
Deeply developed Doll backstories
Ensure you have a balance of Guards to soak up damage and Medics to sustain them. Use 'Function' cards that synergize with your main damage dealers.
Players progress through a branching map of nodes. Combat occurs on a hex-grid where positioning and timing of character skills are crucial to victory.
Yes, it is a spin-off set in the same universe but features a completely different gameplay style.
I wish this game had better social features. Currently all friends are good for is borrowing their units, but aside from that there’s not much else (and the stronger you become the less incentives you have for using supports which means you don’t have incentives to have friends on your friends list). My suggestions: allow us to visit friend’s bases (I would love to see how other players have designed their bases), provide benefits to players whose units were borrowed (incentivize having friends), add guild system so players can work in teams to achieve goals, add co-op content, aside from support units give us the option to show off our favorite characters in our profiles (example: I love DeLacey but she’s not my strongest unit, yet I’d like to show off the projections I own), in-game chat with stickers (make new stickers earnable through events), and lastly allow us to show off our accolades.
So far this game looks amazing upon launch. The art and live2D of characters is great, the gameplay is quite innovative on the auto play genre being mixed with roguelike and gacha elements. It is also not as battery heavy as some of the other mobile games I have played. Voice acting is great as well. One of my gripes would be that I can’t bind account with Apple, Google, or other methods once you played a bit through the Guest account and you have to settle with making a custom account.
what kept people playing GFL1, despite the redundant gameplay, was the T-doll designs in reference to their namesake weapon. The “Guns” made the game. While this entry doesn’t languish in gameplay it lacks the guns aspect almost entirely aside from a few callback characters, or callforwards considering this is a prequel. And the same goes for exilium. In short this franchise works best when turning real steel firearms into cute girls that you then build an army out of. It’s just such a shame they’ve neglected to improve and update the gameplay from the first iteration that made the franchise, and instead opted to make three separate titles 2 of which are lacking in the “GunGirl” department greatly and instead lean more into the Arknights sci-fi aspect, and the other which has a drastically different art style and plays out like fan-fiction.
The game has charm. From the very first battle to the minute narrative interactions, Neural cloud does everything in its power to open a window in the auto-battler market and let the fresh air in. All to a fantastic soundtrack provided by Vanguard Sound. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t leave its room and it’s starting to stink. Plagued by cascading menus, resource grind, repetitive combat, a barebones story, and a relatively small cast of character-ala-trope, Neural cloud fastens itself squarely within the gacha standard formula with a tease of what could be. Neural cloud could have been phenomenal if its aesthetic, cast, and procedural mission style were used to facilitate a more novel gameplay loop. But instead we got *another* auto-battler that recycles ideas from MICA’s past work.
I started playing this game at global launch and I got into it for the adorable characters, wonderful artwork, fairly easy gameplay, and compelling storyline. I’ve had no real complaints up until now. However, the most recent storyline event (at the time of this writing) ended so horribly that I don’t really care what happens after this, unless it somehow gets fixed. It’s so upsetting that I can’t justify giving this company any more money or spending my time playing something that’s just going to anger and depress me every time I look at it. Sorry, but you screwed up when you took my Sunshine away.
Yes, it a good game but now it turn out to be a fan service game with more and more sexualized female characters. It’s ok to focus on fan service to make money but the unbalanced genders in this game seem to be like others game(trash games). Since the released, there only 2 male character and the rest are females and they become too much. Like the new character with that extreme bib boobs for what? I don’t know who idea to make that character but he/she definitely a pervert or and idiot. We want more cool characters not perverts thing or over sexualized female. PLEASE STOP
I was pretty addicted to this game when I first got it. I am a Genshin Impact player, so it was a major relief to have a gacha system where it is easy to obtain good characters. The storyline is very good, and there are many things to do in the game. However, I have a few problems with it. For example, I wish there were more features where you can interact with the characters. They only have a few voice lines, and the only thing you can do with them is the main story. Overall, I enjoy it, and I definitely recommend. :)
I could tell there was a lot of work done to this game, and it looks and feels SUPER polished. The only thing I’d say is it feels like this game needs a slower beginning, rather than just throwing you into the battle. I felt overwhelmed with the game when I started playing because I had no clue what I was doing, even in the tutorial. Maybe some smaller, less fast paced battles would be a better starting point? Either way, from the start you could tell that a lot of work was put into this game, and it just feels really, really polished.
