And energy they should atleast increase the amount of energy to be filled with 3 hours.. the more the level the higher the energy we need.. giving 100 is more like wickedness. How long can 100 energy last? It’s too unfair and they kept increasing the payment amount. It’s too much please do something about it. You made mystery town so much fun. This is the first game I will be so much addicted too, don’t make me give it up cause it’s getting boring at this point, I can only enjoy game if I have money to pay if I don’t have, it will be so boring. The amount of coins I have is over 300k coins if not more than that. We should be able to convert coins too or maybe the way coins is always easy to earn. Energy and diamond should be too. Please
Getting Incredibly Fed Up
Thu Aug 06 2026 Pandas r Ahmazin!I’m about a day away from deleting this app entirely. I’ve spent probably $30+ on this app, and it was the biggest waste of my life. Not only do the developers lie straight to your face when bringing up concerns with the way coins function in this game (entirely useless, I have now more than $2M coins I can’t USE ON ANYTHING), saying they’re “looking into different uses” for coins, they are have started make updates to make the coins EVEN LESS valuable than they already are (which is, to reiterate, essentially completely valueless). They previously had an event called “Lucky Streak” where you could win rewards from collecting the otherwise useless coins. Now, with the latest update to that event, they’ve done away with rewarding you for collecting the coins, and now you have to complete orders LIKE EVERY OTHER STUPID EVENT. So not only are developers lying to customers to express concerns, they’re actively changing to game to make those concerns even more salient. It’s abhorrent. I’ll likely delete the game for good this week unless the developers want to try to actually give a useful response that is responsive to the concerns every single frequent player has already expressed, and they start making changes to reflect it. This latest change to make the coins even MORE USELESS is just a slap in the face tbh.
The Energy System Kills the Fun
Fri Jul 10 2026 Ggm*1968I’ve played Mystery Town long enough to reach level 113, so I feel like I’ve given the game a fair chance. The game itself is fun, but the energy system completely ruins the experience. You’re constantly interrupted by pop-ups trying to get you to buy more energy. The game doesn’t give enough opportunities to earn energy for free like other games do. When your energy finally refreshes after waiting hours, you only get 100 energy, which isn’t even enough to complete a single task. You can spend gems on more energy, but those disappear just as quickly. The card collection system is also disappointing. After reaching level 113, it still feels almost useless because it takes forever to earn anything worthwhile from it. What’s most frustrating is that I’ve earned over 1.2 million coins, yet they can’t be used to buy energy or gems. They’re only useful for building things, and even then you can’t build whenever you want—you have to complete specific tasks first. Building is also one of the few ways to earn extra energy, so your progress constantly feels restricted. It’s really starting to feel discouraging to play anymore

It’s fun at first and just like many of the others, they basically overload you with all the free energy, gift boxes, and rewards in the beginning. Once you get past level 25, basically impossible to play. I’m on level 38 and I level up maybe one every 3-4 days even though I can see how ridiculously huge the map is. There’s genuinely no balance to this game at all… All the orders you complete are so hard for no reason and you basically have to use 2x booster on your energy to finish one order that basically costs all 100 energy. Also, I have almost 30,000 coins but can barely ever progress because it takes forever getting tools to upgrade shops. How is it I have enough coins to upgrade at least 10 buildings but not enough tools? They try to make it all fancy by giving you coins when you merge better quality items but it is just a waste of space and they want you to pay for in game purchases to progress. All these events you do are just playing against bots and it’s impossible to ever beat them. The Frozen Exploration is a great example of one of their useless events, don’t even try to complete them.

Fri Nov 14 2025 .....m.....k....This game is quite fun. I have many merge games and this is in my top 3. My only complaint is when the star comes to exchange items for another item that will help with an order, it will is ask for up to 3 items, and it tends to ask for high level items, but will mostly exchange those 1-3 gig level items for a single level 1 item. This needs to change. It needs to give back an item at the same level of the item I gave it and it needs to give back the same number of items I gave it. I’ve stopped exchanging items because it gives me a useless item in return. Also, when competitions come around, why does it suddenly take twice as much energy to get one item from a drop? I need a motorcycle and I have put over 150 energy (!!!!!!!) into the racing item and it WILL NOT DROP ONE KEY. It’s purposely trying to make me lose.
Buyer Beware
Thu Jul 23 2026 Sf115I purchased a pack in this game (one of many I’ve made) and I didn’t receive all of the items I purchased. I thought a message to the support team would easily fix the issue. Not only did they ask for VERY specific information about the proof of purchase (which I was able to provide), but it’s been 3 weeks (actually 22 days) and I STILL haven’t received the items. In the meantime, I lost all of the benefits I would’ve received in the game because the event has long since expired. At first they said that they found the issue and my items would be in my mailbox. Then when I said I never received them in my mailbox, they said “actually no, you don’t get the items” and that they couldn’t find the items I didn’t receive. So I had to send MORE information and they said their team would look into it AGAIN. So, I don’t actually know if I’m going to get what I paid for at all. If they don’t come through, I’m going to send a complaint to the App Store. They’re taking my money without delivering what I paid for, or theft. I’m extremely unhappy. It’s unfortunate because I really like the game.

Fri Feb 27 2026 BevgwestI saw this game while watching an ad for another game…I downloaded it because it said you would get a “free” welcome gift, after playing a few levels and running out of energy, which the ad said I could play for atleast 2 hours with this “pack” I start looking for where I would find it. I finally found where to contact or ask questions and low a behold it says they don’t give out welcome packs, so they basically lie to get you to download the game which is not a nice thing to do, especially when the game is ok at best.I have deleted because of this. ***************************************** UPDATED RESPONSE TO The response is terrible if the ad is incorrect maybe it should be removed instead of leading people to believe when they click from this ad you will get something. I believe you purposefully mislead people into downloading and then saying it is expired. I went back and saw others that said the same thing all at different dates so you surely had time to fix this problem. I also notice that updated reviews do not update probably why there is such a high rating on the game🤬

You use energy quickly and on top of that they add a booster that uses 4 or 8 energies at a time. It’s not something you set. It just automatically does it. The only control you have is to turn it off when you realize it’s been turned on. I like the app, but can’t afford to spend this much on a game, so I’ll be deleting it. THEY ALSO CHEAT YOU OUT OF PURCHASES! YOU PAY AND GET NOTHING! I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WANT YOU TO SEND THEM ALL KINDS OF STUFF AND THEN DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. NOT SMART AND GREEDY. You say to turn the booster off early. Half the time, you don’t even know it’s on until you realize how quickly your energy is going. You claim the 4 is turned on at 300(?). I had 144 and the blasted thing came on It now turns on all the time! I didn’t know it until my energy was gone after just a few turns. Sneaky way to get people to spend money!
