I played Nexomon Extinction and Nexomon before this game, which I really do recommend since it leaves room for more plot twists as you won’t recognize characters. The only complaint I have for this game is that sometimes it won’t register me walking through the grass and I have to try a few different angles, which is bothersome every now and then. *Spoilers* I also liked how the bad guy won for once which is really different. However, it’s difficult for me to play the game without being able to fully complete it as when I complete it, I can only play the game from before I finished it. I’m probably never going to forget the fact that all I ever did in this game was for naught, including the 9.99 I spent for Micromon eggs. Still very enjoyable though.
I recently found out about this after seeing an ad for it. At first, I didn’t know what to think and was a bit uneasy about trying it out after some bad experiences with other collection games because of how the companies were growing more and more greedy or negligent towards the operations of said games. This is by far a great and the company has done well with its design. I still have a little trouble understanding how the DR system works, but nothing to major. I am concerned with the direction this game will take as it seems updates for it have ceased. I do have one complaint and that’s the difficulty with acquiring certain catchable Micromon. It’s to bad there isn’t some simple achievement system that would at least allow us the chance to acquire copies of the five starters or maybe a pet that would help boost the appearance rate of high rarity a Micromon in the wild. I’m still at the beginning raising my Micromon before moving onto the water area so I’ll probably update this later. Thank you to the developers who have worked very hard on this game.
EDIT: so I read through app grooves review and found that many ppl have the same problem. about half of them have an issue with micromon that starts with letter K or Hoosdom and it’s pre-evolved. I got my hoosdom from egg and when it’s in my party I could not level up my other micromon without crashing. I also see that after fighting two minions of leah will also cause glitch but that seems like a certain micromon could not evolve or a specific micromon learned a move or has its own issues. I will be seeing if leveling up hoosdom or adjusting its move pool will fix issues For something that has in-app purchases, I’m disappointed since I can’t level up anymore in battle or risk exiting out of game. I spent some money on diamonds and now I just see it as a complete waste. I was starting to enjoy it too. It happened after the battle with the cyborg girl in aera. After I transferred some good micromon I got from eggs into my party, the crash started happening after leveling up two of my micromon from 43-44 and 47-48
I’ve had this game since it came out and for some reason I uninstalled it. Recently, I reinstalled it to play it again. The game was just as great and fun as I remembered and I didn’t encounter and issues or bugs, that is until...I found a problem where my game keeps crashing after any of my Micromon level up. I read other reviews and saw one that I believe to have my same issue. I got the Micromon Hoosdoom(?), and after beating any match and leveling up my Micromon, the game inevitably crashed. I cannot seem to fix this issue, and I know this game is fairly old, but can you devs please look into this issue so the possible future players of the game do not experience the same issue. And besides this one issue that I found, the game was amazing and very fun, definitely a 5 star from me.
This is a dream come true! I was longing for something like Pokémon on iOS, but not exactly pokemon. Something different. A game that is still fun, but not a ripoff copy! Maybe even better than pokemon! I just met an app that’s a dream. Yet, it still didn’t make it to “better than pokemon”, but it did make it to “the same level as pokemon”. There’s a bonus too! You don’t need WiFi! Although I have one suggestion that many others have too probably. Can you make the animation a little bit better? Please? 😃 Also the evolutions on some of them look better than others. Please make the Micromon look a bit more detailed. Sincerely, A Big Fan
Thought I’d make this review just to help anyone who’s app crashes on startup on the Chance that they stumble upon it. I had the same problem and then figured out the solution is to have no connection when playing the game. Either turn on airplane mode or ensure you have no active connections when playing. Unless you plan on buying currency from the store you should have no problems playing the game since micro transactions are not needed to complete the game. Although you will get teleported to certain places a bit infront of you at the beginning of the game. TLDR: turn on airplane mode or make sure you have no connection when playing
This game was wonderful; the commentary was actually funny, it knocked on the fourth wall, and the difficulty didn’t spike (actually, it did at the very end with the lv 99 robot. BUT I easily overcame that spike with Party Revives, so there was something to level things out. Also the fact that it was very weak to status effects and had poor accuracy, and was tired every other turn.) The villains weren’t bad, I was actually surprised when we learned of Malik’s betrayal and plans. Plus you can play the entire thing without ever paying a cent. Diamonds from the S-Ranked Tamers were nice, I normally used mine to get better Micromon and I’m actually considering replaying it.
I wanted to enjoy this game, since I found out that it was made/connected to the same people who made Nexomon Extinction(which I recently finished). But the game has crashed on me two times, both times after the initial crash if tried to start it back up, it’d crash in like 3 seconds no matter what I did. The first time it crashed I was on the starter picking screen, which I paused to try and google their final evolutions (on a separate device) to figure out which I wanted. The screen timed out and then when I got back on, the 3 second crash began. I off loaded it and reloaded it, and continued. Was on the way to use that ticket you get to the first town and ran into a wild encounter, and it crashed before I ever got to see what it even was, and it’s back to the 3 second crash. 1 star because it doesn’t matter how good the game is, if I can’t play it, I can’t play it.
