Monopoly Match is a surprisingly clever fusion that I didn't know I needed. Most match-3 games feel like empty clones, but by integrating the property management and 'empire building' aspects of Monopoly, there's a genuine sense of progression here. Winning a level isn't just about clearing tiles; it's about the 'Property Blocks' you earn to finally build that hotel on Boardwalk.
The power-ups are thematic and fun—using a 'Free Parking' blast to clear a section of the board feels much more satisfying than a standard bomb. The game strikes a fine balance between the casual nature of match-3 and the competitive tycoon spirit of the original board game. It’s a polished, addictive reimagining of a classic brand.

Focus on completing color sets first. Owning all three properties in a color group triggers a 'Rent Multiplier' for the next 5 levels, drastically increasing your cash flow.
Match 5 tiles to create a Chance Card. Unlike standard boosters, you can tap a Chance Card to choose between two different effects, such as adding extra moves or clearing all tiles of a specific color.
Yes, you can participate in 'Rent Battles' to see who can earn the most money in a set number of moves.
As others have said, this is one of a multitude of match three games out there but it is enjoyable. I can see where some are saying that some levels are unfair and hard but you can actually beat them eventually with enough luck without spending money. They give an absurd amount of daily events for you to win free powerups every day anyway so it feels less predatory in that sense than most. My only complaint is that adjacent powerups really shouldn’t activate the match 5 disco ball powerup when they go off. You pretty much waste it right then and there instead of maybe clearing the board with them to try to land a powerup next to the disco ball. Case in point, when I load in to a level with four or five powerups added to it with barely any pieces left to match, that disco ball is eliminated immediately without even doing anything really. Please consider making it immune to other powerups setting it off unless being matched to it.
I feel like this game is a little much more better than MONOPOLY go, because you don’t get to destroy anyone. But I just like match games and especially MONOPOLY Match is a fun game to play. I highly recommend people to play this game if you’re into match games. This is my first time playing MONOPOLY Match. Good luck to the newcomers on this game like me.
I feel like if you played one match 3 game, you have played them all. But being a fun of monopoly, I decided to give it a chance. Definitely is less money involved than Monopoly Go so that’s a plus. But the one thing that makes it different from other Match 3 games is the monopoly board, which is where it loses points from me. The “random rolls” are definitely predetermined as I seen someone else mention in a review. I did a 3 minute video where I used 25 rolls and hit the exact same spots the entire time. Nothing but duplicates despite it being on a new board and most of it is empty. If you are going to capitalize off the Monopoly name, atleast make the one thing that separates it from the rest enjoyable.
The base game is fine when it comes to the levels but my problem with this game is when it comes to the board itself. I would grind levels on end to only end up rolling onto the same properties or the various railroads and chances/community chests. Too many times have I ended up not progressing boards because the game decided to be unfair in its rolling mechanics. It all feels predetermined where I will go before I even roll. I also have an issue with how the railroads would work. If I land on a property that goes past go, it doesn’t allow me to roll for an extra property for passing go. There needs to be a serious fix to the structure of the game and I’ll rate it better
I like the match part of the game. It’s really fun. But the Monopoly board part is a bit irritating but I look past it. Why is it so hard for game developers to actually include some REAL randomness to things like dice rolls? Those of you who have played this game for a while know exactly what I mean. I save up near a hundred rolls and when I use them, I land on the same exact properties and JUST VISITING spot every time. Whenever I land on the BOARDWALK spot, I’m guaranteed to roll an eleven. Prove me wrong. I dare you.
The game is just a different brand of existing Match games with nothing new. And like all recent Match games, they give you some easy to medium difficulty play for a 100 levels or so, then increase the difficulty many fold on certain levels. Unless you pay, any resources you built up are quickly irrelevant, causing the ability to solve those levels being almost entirely random to get lucky enough to solve the level. I expected this but tried the game hoping to be surprised. Obviously I was not.
This is an easy game with mostly easy to complete puzzles. It’s mostly typical of any 3-match game and follows the typical rules of other match games. This game could use an adjustment with how blocks fall and automatic boosts are created, or not created. It’s a little unfair that 4 or 5+ new blocks of same color will fall in a column and the bottom 3 will match leaving one or two of the same color blocks above and no boost is given.
It’s fun, especially at first but after level 100 it gets really hard to pass levels to the point that you have to spend money to pass a level which I don’t like because that makes it hardly any different than the other match 3 games which are all desperate for money. If you need money that badly maybe get a different job
