Waste of time

I mean it’s clearly addictive because most maps have bots , but the competitive aspect of the game is not even there; loot does not matter since there is auto fire so any real player just rips through radium armor. I felt so bad when I killed this guy with literally the best helmet in three shots. And it’s quite literally impossible to exfill in meaningful lobbies as everyone sits absolutely still uses their pets as uav and just watch a stairwell. I get everyone has gear fear but the game is honestly more fun if you roam around. Not really fun though when I clear the building top to bottom and die right when I try to exfill liikee come on. Then if you die once in sweaty ahh lobby you get put in the game with bots and unable to find loot so you can stay encouraged longer. There is no skill gap you can gain through expirence , only thing that matter is your ammo penetration level the game is pretty much cooked. On that note to fix some things add controller support back ( lost a lot of people due to that ) and balance the ammunition. The main problem is the players but that isint the games fault they are just scared to lose stuff they spend hours of their life getting. So please respect your player bases time and fulfill your empty promises because this game can die very fast. Also fix the bots please I’m literally going around killing everyone with a staff.

Minor Issues

To be honest, this game is great. The DMZ/Tarkov type game mode paired with a post apocalyptic setting really gives the game a significant change. Though there is a wipe every several days, it is not difficult to get items back. Now the issue of the game is the extremely slow time to connect to a lobby with only mobile players. I’ve tested playing with different maps and different squad fill settings and letting pc players join the lobby. The result is a pattern where pc players in the mobile lobby is challenging to play. If the matchmaking with pc players is turned off, the time to wait for the server to start is usually 1-10 minutes. Another issue is the servers for different squad fills are always changing which is annoying. A positive change would be to add more bots to make the match making time shorter for mobile players and to have squad fill with different fills a constant instead of shutting one down for another. Lastly, the game’s wipe is slightly altered the play style because of how much money and loot I obtained before the wipe, I lost everything and was difficult to regain everything. I suggest putting a setting where players can decide to keep loot for the next season or to restart. For the players that keep everything, they are matched with other players with high tier loot from the last season and bots (mentioned above) have better equipment and aim. Over all a 4 or 4.5 out of 5.

Im one of the people who focus more on the flaws of the game rather than the good points while making a review, but this game doesn’t really have any bad parts of it. I truly love this game and it’s become my recent obsession. It’s addicting and so fun! The main objectives are collecting gear and extracting. But you have to actually think about your tactics and gear you take with you. If you don’t take enough, you can easily lose to a more geared player, take too much, and you can lose more gear than it’s worth to do the mission. But when you take just the right amount and play right, you can extract with a large amount of loot and it’s one of the best feelings in the world. This game has a perfect balance and is very simple yet MASSIVE in features and play through. I rarely ever have an issue with this game and it seems very advanced for a mobile game. And the controller support is amazing and makes the game that much more interactive and fun. I think this game should definitely have full attention from the creators because me and almost everyone else who plays loves this game and don’t want it or updates going anywhere. If you love PVP , looting and extracting games, or just collecting and random pvp at times, this is the game for you. I promise you’ll love it and be addicted!

I am a longstanding hunt showdown, Tarkov player, lost light absolutely hits the nail on the head and scratches the itch for an extraction shooter, I’ve only been playing for about 2 months at the time I’m writing this but I do a solid 20 runs a day, I do wish there was some more content but that’s a given, I’ve made friends, every day at a specific time me and my homie get on and do some raids absolutely a blast. The side missions can lack some luster but I can sit down and thoroughly enjoy myself, the gun fights are actual real gun fights and not a lot of games have that gun fight feel. You have to think yourself out of some of the tough spots, weather that be faking moving cover, using throwable’s, noise trapping, kitting your firefly out, or taking a leap of faith better gear doesn’t mean your always going to win and I love that. Download the game, sit down and enjoy yourself! Take your time! Only issue I’ve honestly had is getting disconnected mid game, it happens pretty often but I can usually load the game back up in 5-6 seconds, only one time did it disconnect and I was standing in front of an enemy and that ruined the entire run but again only once out of a few hundred runs but it’s always present in my mind that it might happen. Please address!

Honest Review

I’ve had this game for a few days and I’ve got to say it’s definitely a new favorite of mine. I was skeptical at first because I saw it only had 3.9 stars and expected a buggy, low quality game with janky mechanics but it’s the complete opposite. From what I’ve seen I’m guessing the problems people have spoke about are probably people with lower end devices. I haven’t had any major issues besides a couple audio bugs but they only happened under very specific circumstances and was due to complications on my end. The gameplay is fun, the progression is fair and addicting, and the survival mechanics are like a cherry on top. If you ever feel like you’re stuck in the game and aren’t progressing much, you either haven’t looked around and exploded the mechanics enough or couldn’t be bothered to read instructions. If you really want to enjoy this game you have to take to time to learn and be ready for failure. Overall pretty solid game especially for something on mobile,I would highly recommend especially if you’re looking for the perfect mix of survival + pvp & pve.

Issues/Rating

The game itself is fun and fast paced by how quick you can learn the mechanics of the game , but the main issue that has been going on with the game is that every 10-15 mins that you stay in the game your game crashes and sometimes it happens in the middle of a fight , which we all can find annoying/frustrating...i'm not sure how many people have reported that issue but nothing has been done. Second issue is that there's a lot of hackers that randomly show up and reporting in game doesn't seem to help at all , i know leaving this review isn't going to help anyone or fix the issues of this game that could have potential...as a daily player i just think i'm going to stop playing this game til the crashing is fixed even tho i've updated the game , restarted the app , re downloaded the app as the "game service" asked me , but seems to not work even when i play it on my Iphone xr...please fix this main issue cause you're losing players that have played since the release of this game , as of new upcoming players download this game will run into this issue as well and will not play it on. Anyways hoping this works out for everyone and hope the Developers could focus on this issue instead of constantly adding skins in game or draws /: , thank you for taking the time to read but i know this will be pointless on my behalf.

Great game, needs attention from Developers.

I’ve been playing lost light for a few months now, and I’ve gotta say it’s really awesome and possibly the best Survival/Extraction FPS experience on Mobile. The cross-play is nice, I’m able to play along with my PC friends. My only qualm with this game is the lack of attention when it comes to hackers. More so the lack of attention to reports made by players about hackers. I just quit playing lost light today for good because I’ve had enough of it. You work really hard to become skilled, you lose until you’re able to know what it takes to win, and you spend in-game money you worked hard to earn on gear that will help you win consistently and allow you to have more fun. I went into BAF Factory and I was immediately spawn killed by a player able to see through walls, and when I redeployed I was instantly killed again, across the map, through multiple walls. So all that gear you work hard for belongs to the player using wall hacks, within seconds it’s game over. When I reported the player (like I’ve done in the past many times), nothing came of it. NetEase, Lost Light is capable of being a very VERY good game. Please fix the hacking problem, it has ruined your game.

Unplayable the way it is now

For starters this game is full of weird bugs and server issues. The bugs aren’t a huge deal just annoying but the servers need to be addressed, I have 20ms ping in every other game I play that being warzone,vanguard and codm but in this game it’s at 40 - 50 which typically I wouldn’t mind since it’s still playable in most games but in this game it’s getting shot when I already went around the corner galore, it’s not something small either I go around the corner and eat full bullets for 3 - 4s after I’m already around the corner. Now for the actual pvp gameplay for one making this game tpp only and not at least adding a fpp or making it fpp only was a huge mistake it makes pvp just a cesspool of people hiding and watching you through Tpp until you come close enough and out into the open when they can come out pre firing before you can even react to do anything your legs are fractured so you can run away and you already took so many bullets there is literally nothing you can do. And now for grenades they one shot you even if you have full level 5 armor, I’ve had people spam 5 Grenades or more at me because they’re so strong they don’t need to use a actual weapon to fight me when they can kill me instantly with a grande
