NOT WORTH IT: Great Game - Too Many Paid Ads

Honestly: ⭐️⭐️/5 Love this game it’s the only game I’ve been playing for months. However, there are WAYYYY too many paid ads and things they want you to pay for, and not a dollar here, a dollar there. NEVER in my life have I played a phone game that wants to charge $15 so you can use the golden tool upgrades for a few days ( I repeat…. A few days, no you don’t get them permanently ). Upgrades take forever, so if you want to play for free and only watch the forced ads just know you’ll get about 10 min of game play/ completing the different requests before having to wait 30min-1hour plus before you can make more progress. I’m going to delete the game here soon because the farther along you get in the game if you don’t pay the $20 to permanently remove forced ads they become more and more frequent till you have a 30sec- 2 min forced ad every 3 min of game play. This game I’d go as far as to say is similar to Stardew Valley but with the amount of paid items in the end it’s not worth it.

Love this game

I wanted to first say I love this game I play tycoons all the time and this might be the only one that keeps me entertained for hours I would like to give some recommendations though the diamonds should be easier to get or less should be asked for somethings take way to long and to much effort to achieves it makes you not wanna play I noticed someone else said more areas to play absolutely agree also maybe add a space where I can review what everything helps with after playing for a while you kinda forget what things do like the laboratory or how they help it would be real helpful to have something to go back to for advice or guidance the games also gets really repetitive after reaching around level 7 which lead me to lose interest in wanting to play it anymore other than that really wanna see where this game goes it has the potential to be one of my favorite played games i appreciate the option to play without ads for a small fee

Enjoyable but Resources too difficult and expensive!

I enjoy playing this game and I’ve spent a reasonable amount of money on some of the characters that will mine resources for you but I’m on level 15 now and the game is becoming increasingly frustrating and unenjoyable. The coal and blue gear things are tedious and much too time consuming to mine myself over and over. Additionally, it is WAY too expensive to outright purchase those resources. I even purchased a level 1 worker to help mine coal from the islands for me but the frequency that coal is needed for upgrades in the game and the fact that I still have to go out there to get the coal repeatedly, is getting really annoying. It’s the with the blue gear things. You need way too many for each upgrade and it’s boring to have to go out to nearby farms and do the same activity over and over again for such a limited number of gears. I really don’t want to, but I’m at a point where if something doesn’t change soon, I’m just going to have to delete the game. Prices are much too unreasonable and doing it manually is much too tedious. Please find a much more reasonable middle ground!

It’s okay

This game is okay I really liked it at first I bought the no add package but you buy more chickens and get more eggs but if you buy more cows you still only get a bottle at a time and when you have to put so many pumpkins just for milk to be produced slowly your constantly going back and forth or when the guy that will do that for you you get hardly any pumpkin for sell/ for the truck or helicopter but my biggest problem is when I first got the harvester for the cane field I was able to plow the field 3 times they just use what I got from the one ride now if I stay on it and wait it out it won’t let you plow more then one time on the ride and if you accidentally turn around and it goes to the “exit ride” you just wasted the ride and not to mention the fact it says 2 rides every 2 hours but it has only been giving you 1 ride every 2 hours you get like 60 sugar cane things and you have to do the side missions and make sugar and sell both it is not enough for only one “ride” every 2 hours I have loved this game but I’m starting to hate it guess I just need to go back to my old games

Big issues with the game.

When I buy more chickens, they produce more eggs for my coop. When I buy more cows, I only waste my resources as my cows won’t produce any more milk. I’m still only getting one bottle even though I have five cows. It’s just wasting resources to buy them when nothing advances. I have this same issue when I upgrade the craft time for my ketchup factory. The craft speed never gets any less. It’s very frustrating!!!!! I can’t find a way to fix it. That’s my main complaint. One of the other things that’s annoying is it cost so much to upgrade your run speed and bag capacity. The run speed only increases by two every time you upgrade it and the bag by six. It also takes forever to chop down anything even when you upgrade your tools. My game is also asking me to produce artichokes for my market stand, but I don’t have access to those yet. I don’t really know why that’s happening. That’s not a major issue, but just confusing. The game is really fun, but I’m hesitant to continue playing as if the issues with the cows & ketchup happens with other items it won’t be worth it and I will have just wasted my time putting it into game that I can’t finish.

Greedy

I honestly have had loads of fun playing this game. The greed level is ridiculous. The fact there is only one way to earn diamonds and you only get 7-9 at a time when leveling up costs at least 40, if not more is insanity. Plus don’t even get me started on the ads, read everyone else’s comments, they aren’t exaggerating. You get a tractor for the sugar field, you can only ride it once an hour makes sense ok cool, except when they say once, they mean once, even if you don’t get off and you wait for the sugar cane to repopulate you can’t use to the tractor to harvest a second crop. Honestly it has a great story line and lots of different activities, and I throughly enjoy this game, there just needs some things to get fixed ASAP. Plus the cows is a whole other issue that needs fixed. Oh and the phone heating up is a serious issue, I get better play time if I exit out of all apps and then play, but still heats up. When I contacted customer support, I explained everything I had already done, and all they did was email me with a list of the exact things I told them I did.

Great Family Fun with Room for Improvment

My whole family has really enjoyed playing this game together and comparing how our farms are doing. It’s been a great source of entertainment and shared laughter. We even joked about getting “sliced pumpkins” when we went to a local farm this year to pick out Halloween pumpkin! My only critiques are the pricing of some in-app purchases and the difficulty of earning golden scrolls after fully upgrading uncle Chan’s farm. The only paid feature that felt worthwhile to us was removing the forced ads— beyond that, paying around $30 of real money just to unlock extra animals feels a bit steep, especially when that same amount could cover several days of groceries for our family. I completely understand that developing and maintaining an app costs money and that the developer deserves to be compensated. I just think you might see even more success if the in-app purchases were priced a little more reasonably.

Glitches and Closes out and sets me back to have to repeat things.

I like this game. I only enjoy it because I PAID to turn off forced adds. If you don’t want to pay to turn off forced adds, this game will just annoy you with constant adds. It’s VERY often. Like more adds then play time. HOWEVER, after paying.. the game has been fun. But it needs an update or bug fixes or something because every single time I pay, I’ll get a lot accomplished and then the app will glitch and close out and lose some of my progress on the game. That gets really annoying. Today I’ve been playing for 1hour and 30 mins while my kids sleep and it’s closed out 3 times! This is why I decided to leave a review. It’s not right with how much I paid to get rid of adds and STILL have issues with the game. I should note.. to be successful at the game, you still will have to watch adds. They just aren’t forced on you every minute. They’re there to get the amount of product or money you need. So I’m still constantly watching adds. Just not forced ones. And the glitching needs to stop.
