Cool Game! I really like how it is in real life. You fly into space and find a new world, gathering supplies, fixing you’re ship with Ore, O2, and Fuel, and Survive. Usually, I struggle on it. But it didn’t matter to me. I would keep practicing until I pass it. Surviving in space can be very difficult and almost unfair, It usually takes practice. There are 5 difficulties, One of them, Flight A, was for players that are new or want an easy game because they want to win. Another one, Flight B and C, More difficult than A, is for experienced players. And Flight X, Is Indeed very hard, this is the first flight you’ll see Red Aliens, It is used for players that are expert. And the last one, ESCAPE, is for players who thought Flight X was very easy because some people love hard stuff. It has a lot of red aliens and is very almost unfair. Outer Space can be cool! I can’t wait to see what will happen to Last Horizon if it gets new updates. It is a fun game to me!
I have played a lot of iOS games over the years and this game easily makes it into the top five of all time. Simple but very difficult is a perfect formula for an addicting game, and this game nails it. For people complaining about it being too hard: this game isn't for you. In fact, I'd say most of the best games on the App Store wouldn't be for you. The greatest games are ones that become very difficult as you play, and making a perfect landing on a planet that's entirely lava except for a tiny patch of land while dodging asteroids is the exhilarating feeling that you seek after when playing games like this, and I love it. I would recommend this to anyone bored of the hordes of practically identical mindless games on the App Store at the moment. To sum it up, this game is addicting, unique, beautiful, and impressively simple. I give it a 10/10 without hesitation.
Purchased it due to interest in concept and uninstalled after playing about 30 minutes. The game controls, although easy to learn, are like trying to steer a dump truck with 4 square wheels on ice through a China shop filled with tnt in a cargo plane inside an asteroid field. The game somehow expects you to pull off perfect flawless landings at the exact right velocity of a feather landing on a babies cheek on the only piece of land on an entire ocean planet while also avoiding asteroids that spawn in like its confetti in mardi gra. That plus even if you are doing perfect and make it 4/5 the way there with tons of terraforming bonuses you will most likely get sucked into a black hole that the game just so happened to forget to warn you about and that is super easily seen as its pitch black in comparison to the pitch black background. All this combined makes for a rage game in every sense. I paid for a cool looking peaceful space exploration with a little challenge. Not a gravity based bullet hell with slowly dwindling health and oxygen and limited fuel where one tiny mistake means restarting ALL my progress! 0/5 stars and two middle fingers up. Good day sirs.
I love this game!!!!! This game is challenging and requires patience to learn; but it provides hours of super fun gameplay. Right now i'm playing it on my iphone 6s and it works great! In the second mission i found other humans on a planet so there must be hidden cookies scattered about. Below i'm going to explain some of the complaints i've seen on this game. I have none. I think this game is perfect the way it is. 1) One person said it is hard to land. The trick is to line up the bottom of the ship with a planet and let out short bursts to land slowly. Just like you would see see on any space scifi movie. 2) One person said there are black holes. The trick is to move away from any disturbances you see in space as soon as you see them. You will get a warning that it is a black hole. Move away as soon as possible. 3) One person said this game is too hard. I love the challenges presented in this game. If your not an experienced gamer or are looking for something easy to coast along the way, this may not be the best fit for you. My final conclusion is that the developer did an excellent job making this game for what it was intended to be. A+++++++++
This game is literally amazing, i love how smooth it is and how you did it. I think you should add a new mode though, sandbox mode: in sandbox mode you can just conquer plants. You could also just take over plants and gain a reputation, you can gain bad rep by conquering planets or you can gain good rep by helping them (by jot conquering them). If you have a lot of bad rep more aliens would come after you, if you have good rep the aliens wont attack u as much. You can also form a team of rouge aliens to conquer alien planets easier.
Deception isn’t welcome on the App Store. This is no exception. Even with warnings, people will get angry if what something looks like isn’t what it is. I’m not just a casual gamer; I like challenge too. But I like challenge in games like FTL where dying feels like my fault, not the game’s; or like Crypt of the NecroDancer whose difficulty grows exponentially from one level to the next but all of the items along the way feel so rewarding, and you see yourself physically getting better. dying isn’t frustrating. I like games where you give and take, but in this game, you never feel satisfied ever. I was hoping with a good deal of practice landing it would turn into a peaceful experience, especially if I stuck to the first level. I wouldn’t even mind if the controls were better. Ship upgrades would make this game so much more rewarding, and I bet the PC version has much more fluid controls. But this? This is a no go.
Honestly, I love this game. It's so addicting and awesome. The controls are so simple a five year old could play this game. So to be honest this is awesome apart from two major problems. Number 1: Okay so the most important reason why this game has two major problems, is that there is no OPTION MENU. Like I'm just going around the game trying to get to the new world when a alien flys over and attacks me! Like what am I supposed to do when I die and I'm 3/4 done with the level! This does not make the game addicting it just makes it super annoying. In the option menu maybe you could things off or on. Number 2: The fact that this game has empty space makes it more fact than science fiction. And I Love that! But whenever I'm on the highway to the new world, I run into the void. I always that that was awesome, yet my fuel and oxygen supply run out like a fat guys stamina! So finally extend the life of the resources, or make more planets. And add more story, after level 1 I feel like I'm repeating the process but way more boring! These are the reasons why your not on the Top List anymore!
One of my favorite games. Beautiful visuals, simple concept that is well implemented and feels polished. This is a game with exactly the right complexity for a phone/tablet game. Enough challenge that I can really get into it, but simple enough that I can pick it up and play for just a few minutes at a time. Would be nice if the developer added some more levels with a couple new mechanics, but I know this is an older game and I’m fine with it as is. Highly recommend this game.
