It is rare to see a mobile game get a second lease on life, but Forged to Fight absolutely deserved it. As a long-time Transformers fan, seeing a G1 Optimus take on a Beast Wars Rhinox never gets old. The combat is surprisingly deep for a mobile fighter, moving beyond simple button-mashing into a game of timing and spacing.
The removal of the more aggressive microtransactions in the Netflix version makes the progression feel much more rewarding. You actually feel like you're earning your bots through play rather than luck. While the base-building elements can feel a bit like 'homework' compared to the excellent fighting, the overall package is polished and a must-play for any fan of the 'Robots in Disguise'.
Iconic bots from every Transformers era
Deep 1v1 combat with ranged and melee attacks
Base building and strategic defense
Global alliance wars and raids
Stunning 3D graphics and animations
In a 3D arena, movement is life. Use side-swipes to dodge incoming ranged attacks. Wait for your opponent to finish their combo before launching your own heavy attack to maximize damage.
Remember the class wheel: Brawlers beat Scouts, Scouts beat Techs, and Techs beat Brawlers. Always check your opponent's class before entering a fight to ensure you have the elemental edge.
Yes, the game was revived exclusively for Netflix members after the original version was sunsetted.
