In Kitty Powers' Love Life, you take charge of a brand new 'Love Village.' Your job is to move couples in and nurture their relationships to help them reach the ultimate goal: marriage! Deal with their quirks, solve their arguments, and build facilities that keep them happy. It's a strategic, funny, and fabulously camp management game unlike any other.

Kitty Powers' Love Life is a delightful, campy, and surprisingly deep management sim. Following up on her previous matchmaking game, this one tasks you with managing an entire 'Love Village' for couples. The tone is exactly what you'd expect from Kitty Powers: hilarious, inclusive, and dripping with personality. It's a game that doesn't take itself seriously, but it expects you to pay serious attention to the needs of your residents.
The balancing act of keeping couples happy while expanding the village is engaging. You have to manage everything from their jobs to their domestic disputes, all while dealing with Kitty's constant, witty commentary. The minigames are varied and fun, and the procedural generation of characters ensures that every playthrough feels fresh. It’s a warm, funny, and uniquely British take on the Sims-style management genre that is a joy to play.

Awesome!!, but a bit disappointing
Fri Feb 09 2018 Farrah naeemI absolutely loved Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker and I’m equally as big a fan of Love Life!! The only problem is that there are still bugs and glitches upon its release. I can’t go any further than what day I’m on at the moment because the glitch pauses my game and doesn’t do anything. No matter how many times I try to rearrange the events with the other characters in the game or if I close the game altogether to restart the day, it never helps. It saddens me since I was really excited to play ever since I preordered it. I’ll make sure to keep coming back to App Store and await an update to fix the glitches.
Fun at first until it wasn’t
Fri Jan 07 2022 money hungry game makersIf you don’t play kitty powers match maker on steam don’t buy. It was fun at first when the randomly generated couples had similar interests with only one or two types unlocked at the beginning stages, but as you level up you unlock more couple types which results in the computer pairing incompatible types together such as edgy people with hippy people and so fourth and a small chance to get a couple that will actually succeed. It might not seem like a big deal but you need at least 3 couples with the same type who all like each other and make them all friends with each other to make the game work and this is quite literally impossible with the randomly generate couples you have to choose from. If you don’t mind closing and refreshing the game countless times to land a couple that MIGHT work (and then you move them in and they hate each other because they don’t reveal personality pieces until you choose them so you spend money and lose reputation points to kick them out in the first 2 minutes) then don’t bother. It’s only fun if you can make your own couples in matchmaker and import them to this game. Other than that don’t buy because you can’t import from kitty powers matchmaker on mobile. If you do play it on steam and know how to import couples it’s definitely worth the money and also highly addictive so be careful I lost many hours playing this game at the beginning it’s so fun! Too bad I have to delete it now that it’s gotten impossible to play properly. Oddly, this game makes progress something that you want to avoid.
Don’t waste your money!
Thu Oct 14 2021 Ehhh pretty goodHonestly I was really excited to play this game just to pass some time but I found it to be more stressful than any actual fun. The game is full of nonsense questions you have to answer in order to keep the couples together. The game barely allows you to make any money. Maybe I just got unlucky but my couples had weird interests that weren’t compatible with neighbors so my couples kept having problems because I could not make them be friends with neighbors. Either they got rejected because the neighbor didn’t like playing chess or indie games with them or I couldn’t unlock a stupid building because I had no money AND TRUST ME I HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR HOURS TRYING TO GET MORE MONEY. I feel as if I have given up trying to make more money to satisfy the couples and keep them together but this just got boring. You have to answer their calls to help them solve a problem that’s exactly like the matchmaking game except it lasts a few seconds and you have to keep going through losing screen again and again to keep doing these nonsense quests. Don’t waste your time trying to enjoy this game and don’t waste your money. Play the matchmaking one instead of this one it’s far better and easier to deal with.

Thu Dec 29 2022 ()()()()()()())(this past week ive my screen time for love life is 10 hours! this game is so fun and for the people saying they cant make friends, they are probably not using the ” Kitty powers’ Love Life: Everything you need to know” guide of steam which has a list of all the interest and what types like them. Also, money is so easy to earn. I get about 3k each week because of the locations. I love the import couples from matchmaker feature, that is super cool. My only complaint is that i wish this game fit on my phone screen and didnt have a huge chunk of black on the sides (i have an iphone xr). overall i would definitely recommend this game if u like the matchmaker one.

I thought it was going to be like another building your world game, but this game asked you for your birthday if you like guys or girls, just some very personal questions. Then the game play is weird. You have to watch couples in their homes. If they have a "problem" you step in and give advice or something like or else they that. They go to work and come home. Have a problem and you try to solve it. 30 minutes into it and I was done! Not my cup of tea! Very strange! The art needs some tune ups as well! There aren't many selections for your character and the designs are terrible. It looks like the character is always slouching and not a lot of options for the face. Terrible characters! Love all the pink but could do without the strange personal questions and watching over other couples. I can not give anymore stars for this game.

The game can be a little confusing or frustrating at times, but that doesn’t effect my review! Honestly, if I could give I higher rating, I would. :p A little side note, It’s interesting that you can export characters from Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker. The time in the game is also fun! You can take little breathers without actually having to leave the game, and if you have something scheduled during the night, you don’t have to worry about other couples, let alone people, at that time. Theres literally too many things to list, and I’d be making this review for the entire year, so i’ll stop. Well rounded game in general. 10/10! I’ve found people who make bad reviews for legit no reason which is why the review is a 3.8. I personally think they just don’t like the people who made it and think it’s okay to effect the game’s rating because they don’t like them, and not because of the game. -_- Please don’t do that! ^_^

Wed Feb 14 2018 FabööWell, I do like it. I was a huge fan of the previous game and beat it multiple times. This game is quite fun too, and I do like it even though it does take some getting used to. But- it continually freezes up and has problems. Every time I restart the game it starts me back at the same place it was frozen at. I restarted my phone to attempt to fix it, and that didn’t help either. I finally uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but it froze a second time after I had to restart it. I don’t want to lose all my progress over and over, because the tutorial is quite lengthy and unskippable. Really hope you fix the bugs soon! It’s a fun game but I don’t want to keep having I start over and over.

Mon Apr 30 2018 Guest DI wanted to play this game when I first heard about it and just bought it today... However, the furthest I was able to get was the beginning where I had to put in my information. It kept crashing the app, forcing me to start over every time I tried to type in my name. It's pretty unfortunate that I can't even play the game without it going so slow that it crashes. I tried resetting my iPad and constantly going back into the app. I even tried closing an app I already had opened and was met with the same problem every time! I don't know if it's a bug, glitch, or memory problem but if it can be fixed, please do so. I would like to be able to play the game.
