- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Hotel Frenzy is a high-octane time management game that will test even the most organized players. It’s a brilliant mix of 'Diner Dash' style service and home renovation. One minute you're frantically checking in guests and delivering room service, and the next you're choosing the perfect curtains for the lobby.
The progression is very rewarding. Turning a run-down motel into a five-star luxury resort provides a great sense of accomplishment. The characters are charming, and the various hotel themes keep the gameplay from feeling repetitive. It’s fast, frantic, and fun—just be prepared for your heart rate to go up during the 'rush hour' levels!
Fast-paced time management gameplay
Deep interior design and renovation
Global hotel locations to unlock
Charming characters and storyline
Always try to collect multiple items before heading to the rooms. Delivering towels and coffee in one trip saves precious seconds during busy periods.
Prioritize upgrading your shoes (movement speed) and the coffee machine. Faster service leads to higher tips and more stars per level.
Yes, the game features seasonal events where you can unlock exclusive holiday-themed furniture.
I didn’t expect much from this game, but I actually am really hooked by the story, decorating and characters, and I love the gameplay (think diner dash style but for concierge services at a hotel) and especially love that I don’t have to do boring matching or merging to proceed with decorating and the storyline. I don’t mind spending some money on boosters and such either. I find the prices reasonable, no gouging and you do NOT have to purchase to win levels or achieve certain key items - ads can be a bit annoying but are mostly optional and the occasional one that slips in is mostly skippable. I wish however that I could revisit past hotels not just to look at them but to play additional levels just for fun or maybe play enough levels and get a small prize (booster or something). I miss playing at some of the locations more than others. I’m playing the space themed hotel right now and I love the theme, decor and music. I’m going to be sad to leave this location. But each level/location is pretty fun and they keep it interesting. Highly recommend giving this one a try.
So this game is fun to play but I hate all the stuff that has nothing to do with the game and doesn’t give you anything. You have to spend diamonds on the hotel to decorate and you earn them so slow. They are also used for hotel upgrades and take forever to accumulate. You end up with a bunch of coins and no diamonds. There really isn’t a way to normally earn a bunch of diamonds. The stuff where you can earn diamonds is only when they have a promo going and you still get maybe 1 or 2 as a reward. It takes like 20-40 diamonds to upgrade each part of the hotel. There are 8 different parts and 2-3 levels in each part. Also don’t like that you have to keep switching hotels and coins. There is also soooo many ads. Like too many and everything has an ad. I really love the lightening rounds. They are fun because you are able to just run and serve everyone. I do wish this was a part of the side game or a way to earn more diamonds. These rounds could have unlimited guests or timeframes or goals (room match, likes, orders made, rooms cleaned, performances played). This way when you reach a certain number you earn diamonds or the boosts and the higher each achievement the more stuff you get. Would make for a gun game. Even a finish level bonus. It would also be great if you could earn boosts to keep so as the game levels so can you. Also rather than doing different hotels all the time they should add more rooms. This would be cool cuz that would mean more guests and more orders.
Overall, I enjoy the game. While challenging, stages are possible to pass if you’re willing to watch a boat load of ads and be patient. If you have no patience, you can always purchase some items. I have no issues with reasonable purchases if I feel a game is worth it. Personally, if you think about it, a little money for a game that’s well designed is worth paying to the developers to keep continuing producing more levels and quality games. The reason for 4 stars is that I was a bit put off that the currency changed once I completed the first four hotels and then flew to the next location. I built up my old balance (gold) to almost $190,000 assuming I could use it for the following hotels. Now it’s pointless because of the new currency, which is Blue. I wish I would’ve known this would be the case. I would’ve saved the ads for double coins after completing levels and not claimed some of the monthly awards in coins, etc… to help with the upgrades. Plus you can’t even purchase coins, which I would’ve probably considered. The only way to earn them is by completing, daily gifts and monthly/daily goal rewards. But in a nutshell what should’ve been a nice upgrade transition for the new hotel is now more of a headache and going to take way longer than it would’ve if I could have used the original currency. I’m not sure why they did this since acquiring coins is extremely limited besides swapping for diamonds at a crazy exchange rate. So that’s my main issue. Otherwise it’s a great time killer and you can get sucked in easy if you like this style of game.
These multi tasking games are fun and engaging. However, I don't want to play games that increase my stress and anxiety. All of these games start off exactly the same. You play and play and do so well in the beginning stage to get you hooked and then the levels are nearly impossible to beat. I will watch the scoring and see how the score is rigged. I can’t even tell you how many times I have lost by a point or so. I have played the exact same level about 500 times and lose by the exact same score almost every time. If you want your score to be higher you MUST upgrade everything in the hotel and that requires stars and stars are NOT easy to come by UNLESS you pay. I understand and appreciate these games want to make money and are challenging but if they are so aggressive whereas you actually want to throw your screen across the room in frustration, it’s time to delete the app and that is where I have arrived with Hotel Frenzy. It’s a shame because it is fun and a nice escape but not at the expense of my emotional sanity. A guaranteed GREAT time….for the first day or so and a great time quickly will turn to high anxiety. I really think if the developers fix these issues they would actually make more money. They are guaranteed to NOT make a dime if the user deletes the app entirely. Something to think about.
Ok so I’m going to update my review from one star to 5 stars, at least for now. By the end of the third motel the game gets a lot more challenging and gets a lot harder to collect diamonds...basically to the point where you feel like the only way to win some levels is to buy diamonds or power ups. HOWEVER, I will say that I’ve settled in to the game a little better and it IS still fun. That being said, you do have to watch a LOT of the ads and do a lot more waiting for motel upgrades to be able to pass some levels. Ads are also needed if you don’t feel like waiting several hours or an entire day to upgrade. The game is fun and it is worth it for myself personally, but just be prepared to watch a lot of ads to be able to progress the game. The first few motels are super fun and easy to get through, but by the end of the third motel the dynamics change a bit. Give yourself time to get used to it before jumping in and making a review.
This is a fun game and all, but there are many flaws. Some of them are that that are too many ad offers and purchase offers being shown, as in after every level. And when it comes to decorating the room, there is usually just this really good choice that you need to watch an ad for and it’s just annoying. In general, there are a many ads. My question is, that in the levels, why wouldn’t you be able to accept other needs before the one in the front? All in all, this is a nice game, but it frequently frustrates me. As a final note, please know that this game is not like the advertisement where you add up the total and hand them their key and there is no VIP room; I kind of started playing this game because of the given advertisement for it, but now I see that it’s just not the same-why do so many games do this?? However, this game is really fun in many ways; I like that there are hotel features and upgrades and also you can get hotel branches, which is cool. The room decoration options are nice and suitable for the room and I enjoy doing it.
I have been playing this game for awhile, and while you can beat any level without purchasing anything; however the disadvantage of not paying is high. I really wish the movement spread can be upgradable. I have lost a few customers due to the fact the characters speed is too slow and has to move from one side of the hotel to another, and this is with the all the upgrades purchased and completed. I have bought several packs in this game but really feel movement speed should not be of the things you should have to purchase ( by which I am referring to the jet packs) once that can be changed I have no problems giving a 5 star review as the game is very fun and addicting. Also please lower the game pass price, I have played hundreds of game on phone, and console and have to say 20 bucks for a game pass is highest . I do think Ming buying packs from time to time and understand that’s how free games make their money, but that seems a bit much, as much as I would like to buy the pass I spend enough on packs that I can not justify an additional 20 just on a game pass.
This game is fun, challenging and addictive. I’ve enjoyed playing and I still do, but it has become frustrating. I get that developers want to make money , but I have now reached a point in the game where I have to keep spending money. The levels have gotten so challenging that you have to use a power up/boost in order to win. If I have to use a power up/boost on every level, then I’m constantly spending money and I’m not interested in constantly spending money. The packs you buy aren’t good. One pack gives you 30 minutes of playing time, but only gives you 2 boost and some diamonds. I would prefer more boosts. The more boost I get, the longer I play, so the extra 30 minutes is irrelevant. I’m also at a point in the game where it takes 12 hours to upgrade the rooms, food dispensers, and reception area. That means I have to wait until the next day to continue. I think it would be a good idea if the developers reduce the upgrade time.
