Bug Fixed.
Harvest Town is a delightful love letter to the farming sim genre, and it wears its inspirations proudly. It manages to cram an incredible amount of depth into its pixelated world. Beyond the core loop of farming and livestock, the RPG elements—like the skill trees and the combat-heavy mines—give you a constant sense of progression.
The social system is surprisingly deep, with distinct personalities and elaborate questlines for the townsfolk. It feels like a living world. While the UI can occasionally feel cluttered due to the sheer number of features, the charm of the art style and the generosity of the content make it easy to overlook. It’s a perfect mobile alternative for those who have spent hundreds of hours in Stardew Valley and are looking for a new world to inhabit.

Yes, there is a substantial main quest line that uncovers the history of Harvest Town and your character's past.
Honestly, I have been a fan of farming life sims like this forever (all the way since the oldest Harvest Moon games). Some grab me more than others, some are more nuanced than others, and I have played a bunch, from Stardew Valley and Graveyard Keeper, to the Rune Factory series, and I have to say, this is a fun little game. It is really optimized for Tablet/Phone and plays really smoothly. I like that I can tap a quest and it literally walks my character to the person I was collecting things for (a huge quality of life improvement). There are a bunch of decorations, a lot you can get without ever paying. You get bonuses for watching optional adds. Farming is easier in that you just hold a button and it auto-moves you between things (again, another quality of life improvement). So all in all, this is way better than I was expecting, and I am having a lot of fun and enjoying myself. I highly encourage everyone to give it a shot. The only thing I have really noted is some small translation errors, but they are kind of funny. So given the graphics and scope of this game, I think it is great. 10/10.
The game is one of my favorite things now and at this point I’m playing it more than Genshin impact which is another one of my obsessions. As someone who finds it hard to get attached to games, I am very attached to this one. I really like the story and the game play but the only thing is that it feels unfinished in some details like the whole dating an npc since we only have 3 date places and only 3 marriageable characters and not to mention fisher who you can’t event go to dates with. Another thing is that I find the whole occult cave system too hard to advance specifically for new players which is bad because without the material drop of some monsters is necessary for making boxes for inventory and inventory is very necessary to play without too much struggle. I feel like another necessary thing to improve might be the stores of clothing and hairstyles since there isn’t a variety of clothes and hairstyles but not only that they cost a lot of diamonds so it would be good if some clothes and hairstyles costed coins too. I really hope game devs update the game soon with more fun things for us players to enjoy and not give us the whole excuse of if it requires too much space it won’t work well bc stardew valley, cookie run kingdom, Genshin and many other games work super well and are addicting with or without taking too much space.
I love this game I’ve been addicted to it more than Stardew valley and a great way to pass the time while waiting for the new Story of Seasons to come out. I do love it’s not a SV ripoff it’s doing it’s own thing. The orders and machines that go by real-time is great but also annoying when you get addicted like me and can play for many in game days at a time. But I mean it’s a mobile game. I am seeing a lot of deals tho and thing for cheap on the banners so it gives me hope that this isn’t going to be “P2W” type of mobile game. However some things I don’t like and a few bugs. It take forever to get past the copper level in the mines. There is a huge gap between the silver and copper levels that’s a bit annoying. One bug is sometimes the animals never go back inside the coop even after ringing the bell and leaving it ringing. Another thing on the animals is since we can’t push them or go over them they sometimes lock me inside or outside the coop for a few hours and that’s a bit annoying when I’m trying to get on with the rest of the day. I’m also seeing we need a item to go on a date and while I’m not that far into it I did explore the shop and saw the items needed to date and get married on there a bit pricey. I hope I don’t have to buy these items on the cash shop and can grind out the items in the game.
Hello! This is truly a lively game. I love the villagers and the interactions. I greatly appreciate the love and work you have put in your game! With that said, there is something I feel empty about. Perhaps I am not far enough in the game…but I’m sad so far it hasn’t talking about my character’s family. I honestly would prefer it to stay that way. It would be nice if we could have like-families though. There’s families in the game, for example John Gray and his granddaughter, Peach, it would be nice if you could get to a certain heart and they’d become like-family. Walk you down the wedding ail, invite you to family events, invite you for dinner, drop by your house, etc. Which reminds me, it would be nice if the other characters, npcs, were to try to become your friend without you even trying. It would be totally random. Sometimes characters would get a crush on you and try harder to see you, etc. Or other characters could just want to be your friend and drop by asking if you want to come to their place for dinner or something close to it. I think this would make the game come to life! Whether you read this or not, thank you. This is a wonderful heartfelt game. Have a good day!
This game is amazing. You have the option to buy items but really that ruins the fun. The grind isn’t boring and there’s a lot to do. This is NOT an idle game, there are time objective tasks like canning jam or making feed for your animals, but other than that a lot of it is much like Stardew Valley really (but a lot easier) The dialogue is a little rough because the creators are Chinese I think? But either way it isn’t unbearable and you get what it’s trying to say. This game is worth the download and SUPER fun. It’s up there with my favorite games like Animal Crossing (especially since the devs haven’t put out much great content lately). In summary: this game is super cute, it has lots of design options to make your farm ✨aesthetic✨ and it’s not money hungry. It’s a fair balance and just hard enough to keep you from getting bored, but not enough to quit out of frustration. One suggestion I will give you is implementing an auto save feature! That’s pretty much my only critique. Thank you so much for making this beautiful game. I’ve been having so much fun ❤️
Harvest town Prolonged connection error not on my end despite everything I’ve done to see if it was me. It’s not I have to give this a low rating because I suddenly lost access to my game and can’t get in past the login screen. If I regain access to my game, I’ll write a new review with a better rating. Connection error that’s clearly not on my end has been going on since August 10, 2021 and no one happens to be answering support emails either. Come to find out, the last email didn’t go through so apparently they must’ve deactivated their email? I don’t know but I was pretty advanced in the game. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting my device and my modem, cleaning up all Internet tracks, all to no avail. I still can’t get on! I can never get past the splash screen despite saying I’m logged in. I haven’t broken any rules, I’m on Apple iPad with an iOS operating system. Completely updated. No other app on here has ever given me such trouble. None of my other games have trouble loading, just harvest town. I’ve removed it more than once. Disconnected from Facebook, cleaned up, restarted both modem and device. Nothing. Hopefully someone can do something about this and get me back into my game! If I get back into my game, I’ll give a higher rating
I love and enjoy this game so much that I’ve actually become so attached to it. I can play it for hours and not get bored at all! I must say, it’s quite surprising how good quality this game is, as I did not expect it to be. However, there are some things I think SHOULD be added or fixed. Firstly, I think we should be able to actually chat with the npc’s and have multiple choice answers. It’d be more fun to actually communicate with them instead of them just saying a couple of sentences and us with nothing. Plus, it’ll be easier to gain more hearts as well! Secondly, we can only marry specific characters and it’s probably not a major thing for everyone, but it’d be way better to have more options. Also, I hope more dates get added!! Lastly, it takes soo long to get from the copper to the silver layer in the ancient mine. I honestly just started trying to get into the silver layer, but I can tell it’ll take me a while. Overall, this game is totally worth it and is fun for those who like farming games!! I hope this reaches the developers!
I've played over 60 hours worth of this game over the course of a couple months now, and I can say that I enjoy it. It's a cute little farm sim, and I can tell the devs put some thought into design and immersion! I enjoy this game quite a lot, but there are a few things to note; -the translation to English is a little messy which makes instructions difficult to interpret occasionally -the transition between certain cut scenes can be a little wonky, for example,if you're meeting an NPC in the forest, they should be in the forest until you leave that area; it makes it more immersive! -the friend system is really bugged out, help requests don't go away even after they've been fulfilled, and you can add friends more then once somehow :') -the basement is useless and it has been for over FOUR YEARS? It would be the perfect place to store all the chests! -a lot of the romance plots for the citizens are incomplete! :( I wanna Marry Andy and get to know Fisher! 🧜♂️ -Allow for more produce buildings! It would be awesome to get two Mills or two Melt Shops! I have so much space and I don't know what to do with it :') -I super duper appreciate how easy it is to play this game without spending money, but I really wish you guys would stop making events so difficult to participate in without spending money! :') or at least stop designing some of them to where the only way to finish them would be to spend money. <~that's all I love this game otherwise~>
