• Optimizations
This is a really cool app. Very challenging puzzles and everything, really worth buying (even though it is only a dollar). The only complaint I have is 1) It only has four colors. And 2) I think that every level pack you pass, you should have a different color instead of you having to change it manually. But other than that, it is a really good app and you should buy it if you are considering
I'm assuming that NexxStudio has 'abandoned' this app more than a few years back or they are defunct. My kid has had this puzzle on 3 different versions of iPad Mini over 8 years, I believe. He currently has the 2021 release version and the game rotates opposite. Example: He plugs in his mini to charge, so turns the iPad on its side. App does not rotate at all to landscape mode. I then turn it to where the port and cable are coming from the 'top' (I guess you'd call that 180° Portrait mode) and the app does rotate, it just rotates upside down. And of course I'm not an idiot, I will then rotate back to 0° Portrait Mode and the screen rotates upside down in the other direction. Regardless if there's a "oh, we'll lock the screen before you rotate it back" that's something that should have been fixed. (His last iPad mini did it as well, I just assumed that, because the outdated IOS wouldn't update, the app glitches 'in translation'. Also, we have the paid version, and I've tried downloading the app to my iPhone. I am unable to read what level I'm on and I'm unable to read if I have any number of hints available. The screen is ultra compressed. That's been true 2+ years.
I couldn't get it to open, initially. It would lag on the title page, then cut off to the screen. This is what I did to get it open (though, you may not need to do all the steps): 1). Downloaded app...hit the "open" icon to open from App Store download screen...it lagged on title page and crashed. 2). Opened app from iPhone home screen...lagged on title page and crashed. 3). Opened app from iPhone home screen...lagged on title page and crashed. 4). Deleted app. 5). Repeated steps 1-4 6). Looked at reviews; there were none. 7) went to App Store logon, couldn't find email to get refund. 8) went back to app in App Store, still no reviews, so I hard closed the App Store app, reopened App Store app, which finally showed the reviews. 9) redownloaded App, but this time, I closed out the App Store and opened app from my iPhone home screen, and it surprisingly loaded immediately. Now, I'm not sure if it was the fact that I hard closed the App Store app (swiped it instead of hitting home button), deleted and reinstalled three times, OR that I went out of the App Store app and opened it from my screen, instead. OR it could've been a combination of all processes, but it works now. I only wish it was this simple to get my iPod out of restore mode! Oh well, appreciate the victories; shrug off the defeats!
I think this game is great for stress because the sound the game makes when you connect the dots is very satisfying to hear. A other thing is that you can change the color of the puzzles! One more thing is when you complete a hard level you feel like a genus!
Honestly, only writing a review for the achievement in Game Center. I do love the game though, but I also agree with other players. The game is very tedious. Some levels are easy. Others pose a small challenge, however the cramped game board makes finishing those levels difficult. It's annoying and quite frankly involves too many restarts. I like the game but I wish there were also more stylized options, such as "theme packs" which I see listed in the achievements but not in the settings. The pink glow has lost its appeal for me. Needs more color.
The game is okay, but the hints button is right where I kept accidentally touching it - at the bottom right, where my right hand brushes. They activate even AFTER I've completed the round! I used up all the hints without meaning to use them at all. That really needs fixing! It also doesn't always register when I've touched a dot. This is a real pain. When I'm tracing, sometimes it will not connect, and then stop the game because the next one I try to go to isn't valid - although it would have been if it had gone the way I wanted.
It works really good... But my only concern is that the pixels are messed up on it, if this happens to anybody kindly write a review on it.... What I mean by it it’s that the numbers are off on it doesn’t say what levels I’m doing it’s kinda messed up, I’d be a happy camper if they fix this... thanks
I am so happy with this game it was really difficult with some levels where I had to buy hints but this game is awesome and I am really happy that u beat it I started in like June or July of 2015 and it is freaking March of 2016 so yeah long time to beat it but it was so worth it!
