Love this game still waiting on an update

Update: 09/15 I’m still waiting on an update. I’m not giving up because I know when idle breaker came out it took a minute before it was updated and it was at a standstill for awhile. So I’m still waiting on an update for this app. I enjoy this just like idle breaker. I’m stuck though. I can’t go on any expeditions to upgrade my radio to level 5. So I can’t get the tool boxes needed to do that. I’m not sure if it’s because I tried to upgrade everything quicker or what. A patch/fix would be nice along with extra content. Maybe find new places to restore and set up trade routes. Edit: 08/30 how am I supposed to progress to get more tool boxes when I can’t go on anymore expeditions? This is the kind of update I’m looking for!!

Good but not

I like the graphics and like the world but after you open a few areas close to you, you then have to go to another location which repopulates resources but you are stuck going to the same two locations over and over and over and over and dang that gets boring. It looks like there is a lot of potential to open other areas and I keep thinking after I finish this next task some other area will open but they just never do and here I am going back to the park and diner over and over. Update: the game just stopped a few months ago and now it looks like they added new content but the part where you have to get $1200 to buy something but can only get money from the park and that is limited to maybe $500. So then you have to go back to the stupid park and do it all over again. Blah. So disappointing. I am so sick of the park and the diner.

This could be literally such an amazing game it has so much potential but they stretch out the wait time for literally everything every step of the game you have to craft somthing that takes over 40 minutes and you gotta watch a couple adds to skip it. It’s just annoying that I’m watching adds and waiting more then I’m actually playing the game. I just wish they made the crafting times a lot quicker it would bring up my rating by one star another thing I think the the scarcity of resources you have a limited amount and have to wait till you open another section to get more there should be a way to automatically generate materials or a place you can travel to get the specific resource you need. Other than that I think this game has insane potential if they listen and change some things around cause I love everything else about it.

Repetition and ads…

The game starts off feeling fun and promising, with decent graphics that makes you think you finally found a solid game. That optimism fades quickly once you realize you will be doing the exact same thing over and over, with little challenge and even less reward. On the plus side, if watching ads is your favorite hobby, this game truly delivers, serving them up every few minutes without fail. I understand developers need ad revenue, but forcing an ad every three minutes is impressive in all the wrong ways. With more variety and actual challenges, this could have been a solid game. Until then, I would strongly recommend not spending a dime on ad removal, since the gameplay itself offers little more than a relentless cycle of repetition interrupted by ads. I struggled giving 3 stars.

This game is a money drainer! It is fun to play when you get to play that is. Unless you buy the gems to skip ahead of all the freaking time builds you might get to play a whole whopping 3-5 minutes (that’s being generous) then you get to wait anywhere from 15 min. to an hour for the build to happen. Or put money down to buy gems to skip ahead. It seems like everything requires a time build, which to me is a total game killer. It would be nice if they lifted some of the time builds and make it possible to acquire gems without having to outright buy them. SMH. I really do like this game but what’s the point of you’re waiting to play for a few minutes

I love this game. It was really fun. I got to a point where it started getting really repetitive, crafting 2 or 3 items that would take days to finish. I bought the no ads, and triple power for the axe because it made it so much more enjoyable. I even bought new guns because I thought for sure it would keep going! Well it doesn’t. Now I’m stuck at a point I need toolboxes but there’s no way to get them because there’s no expeditions to go on. I’m sad and honestly I feel cheated. There’s areas that require a level 50 axe and the highest I got was 19 so I thought for sure there’s plenty more playability. There’s not.

Start off strong takes too long

I enjoyed the game at the beginning and played for several days. Good storyline, fun game mechanics then came the waiting… 15 minutes here. 30 minutes here. 45 minutes there. 9 hours to complete admission when there’s nothing to do but just sit there and watch the clock. Alienating me from the game by making me wait is not a happy-making mechanic. I think they’re counting on you using the “speed up” by watching commercial commercials, but they force commercials on you irregularly anyway so very much worth it. Recommendation: enjoy the game for a few days, but you won’t get much further than having to repair your snowmobile until you’re driven by the wait times

Boring, excessive ads

Let me start by saying that yes, I know you can purchase the game for $8.99 plus tax to eliminate the ads. The game is not worth $9+. It is next to impossible to play without paying. Chop wood, gather plastic bottles, ad, upgrade ad, gather materials, ad, upgrade shovel, ad for example. But you also get peppered with ads in the middle of gameplay. Don’t want to wait 10 minutes to upgrade your axe for the upteenth time? Guess what? You can watch another ad! Don’t want to wait for windows to build? Ad. Don’t want to wait for anything else to build, ad. Did I mention the ads? Aside from that it gets boring quick. No storyline. You just chop, shovel, upgrade, add to your shelter and watch a million ads before, during and after. Uninstalling.
