Welcome to the Museum of Forgotten Hill, we've fixed an issue that could prevent the game from working on iPhone 12 and newer running iOS 15. Hope you enjoy the visit!
If you enjoy psychological horror that makes your skin crawl, Forgotten Hill Disillusion is a masterpiece of the genre. It moves away from the typical jumpscares of mobile horror and instead builds an oppressive, surreal atmosphere within a disturbing museum. The art style is grotesque in the best way possible, reminiscent of old-school point-and-click adventures but with a modern, dark twist.
The puzzles are genuinely challenging and require you to pay close attention to the disturbing lore scattered throughout the exhibits. It’s a long, satisfying journey into madness that rewards patience and observation. It’s rare to find a mobile game with this much atmospheric depth and world-building.

Use the in-game camera to take photos of strange wall markings. You will often find the solution to a puzzle in one room located on a wall in a completely different section of the museum.
Tap on every exhibit to read the descriptions. Many contain subtle clues or items needed to bypass the museum's grotesque security mechanisms.
Yes, there is a built-in hint system to help you if you get stuck on the more difficult puzzles.
I really enjoy the Forgotten Hill games but have to say the Dark/Beyond side is quite difficult and requires hints to understand what you need to do next. I’m currently stuck in Beyond the Library. I’ve made the Mandrake bread but every time I click on it, the game enlarges it like a photo or book so I can’t give it to the hungry goblin boy. Is this a glitch - the game doesn’t seem to consider it an inventory object?
I was initially unsure of whether to pay 5 dollars for this, but it’s actually crazy how much content is in it. Well well well worth it. Puzzles are extremely creative and they will last you a long time, provided that you don’t get as addicted to the game as I was and finished it in several days. Puzzles are challenging for sure and will get you thinking, but not too hard that someone would get stuck often. Anybody unsure of whether or not to get this should really honestly just pay the $5. Well worth it, and you’d be supporting a developer who has consistently (and hopefully will continue to) created great content. With how much creativity goes into these puzzles, the developers really do deserve all the praise and support. Whoever develops these games is doing a great job and I can’t wait for more new content!
This is a huge and complex game and totally well worth the price. There are many, many, locations and puzzles.... a wonderfully creepy story and ambiance.... great graphics, and smooth gameplay. I did have to close and reopen a few times when it froze but it always saved my progress so there was really no problem. Thanks for the in-game hints and official walkthroughs. I confess I used them a fair amount, but the game is so big that it never felt like I was losing out. There were quite a few places where it was not at all obvious what to do next and this is where the walkthroughs were invaluable. The only thing I'd add is a fast travel map at some point... once the second part of the game opens up there is so much walking to and fro and I got tired. Overall, a stupendous offering from this dev who has, over time, become a favorite. All their games are great.
I LOVE escape room puzzle games and I have played most of these now and all of Rusty Lake. Rusty Lake is FAR SUPERIOR. Why? Because the logic is sound. You find a clue and it makes sense where the next step is and if you don’t figure it out and have to resort to a walkthrough, you are like “omggggggg I’m stupid”. This one?? Every time I’ve used a walk through (a LOT) I’m like “why on earth would THAT be a thing??” It’s no fun to just go room to room clicking on things without logic. That’s not a puzzle - that’s trial and error. I will play till the end because I’m a completionist but meh. This one is making me mad. 3 stars because it still looks cool.
One of the best puzzle games I’ve played thus far—and I’ve tried many! I’ll play anything these developers make in the future, if the quality and attention to details is even half as good as this! I am always on the hunt for good, engaging puzzle games and this one brings all the best elements together: entertaining stories, interesting characters, great graphics, mental challenges, the works! Finished Disillusion and am just floored at how good it was. I want to start all over again but I am moving on to the other forgotten hill series games.
This is the best escape room app and I have played them all. Totally worth the money. It was hard to put it down! I couldn’t stop and now that I finished it I wish I had taken it slower because I want to keep playing! I love how long this particular game is - there appear to be different levels at first, but then everything connects in the end. Great storyline and great variety of puzzles! Well done! Would love to see another game like this, but perhaps less creepy lol!
I love the games by this developer but...I’m horribly stuck. I filled the bottle with sap instead of water. I figured out where to dump the sap finally but now have no container to give water to the guy stuck in the fish(for the second time)!? Is this a glitch or can someone help find another bottle.? I also had the game crash frequently in the big mouth plant room using the camera, but I have continued the game til this point...
I have been playing FH since the very first game and I have been never disappointed. The horror and mystery is just perfect. I just got done finishing this one and the ending was real satisfying and sad. I was hoping to turn all the nynchkuddys back to their human form but I think that can happen in a future game. I think there should be a next game called Forgotten Hill: Witch hunt.
Solve logic puzzles to collect memories to move through five different chapters. During your stay, you will encounter creepy characters...
