This update brings you essential bug fixes and optimizations to improve overall app performance. We're committed to making your experience better with each update. Thanks for being a valued user!
I like it. It is much better than CATS. I will play it again, and again. (Who knows the reference?) This is a lot of fun once you get into it. It isn't the best game in the world but it's great for what it is. My only concern is the lag when there is a lot of action on the screen. UPDATE: This game gets better and better. I play it more than any other game now. I have most of the "power ups" and am on level 63. I hope there is no limit to the levels (unless there's a true ending). Please add more weapons/power ups/dragons/etc. Soon I will have everything and not much to strive for anymore. UPDATE: absolutely love this game. *DEVELOPERS*I am on level 126 and have all of the power ups maxed out. PLEASE ADD MORE STUFF QUICK!!!!!
And then this. I was looking for a game that taught something valuable to my child and wasn't presented in an educational framework - something like the games I used to play as a kid, but simple enough for a four-year old to operate. I found this game months ago and both of us can't get enough. Dragon Hills teaches hand-eye coordination in a unique way, and its one-touch operation couldn't be simpler. Just when you think it's getting repetitive, you'll discover nuances in the gameplay. If you get "addicted" to games, you better steer clear of this bit. This is not to mention the graphic and audio mastery. We play on a UE Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker and it sounds more like action scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean than an iPad app. Animations are on point. Storyline is appropriately simple and still fresh. Only drawback is a slowdown in gameplay when sprites max out, even on my iPhone 6s (newest processor at the time of review).
I have no place to really complain here as this is a fairly fun time killer. The one complaint I have about this game is how they shifted this and the sequel over to the Pay side of the App Store. This does not effect me as this was done after I got the game, but still, this decision was carried over in the sequel, which I really want to play as it looks so much more refined and all around awesome, but sadly, I will probably never receive that chance as these games will now follow a pattern of pay to play. A path which I dislike apps with this much potential for being a steamroller for F2P take much to often. Anyhow, I will continue to play the first game as it is still fun to this day.
Okay, it's been a long time since I hit the 'shop' icon in a mobile game and it takes me to the shop for swords and armor, not 'Buy 1,000 coins for $2.99' That said, it took me a minute to warm up to the game, but once I did, it's been a blast! The controls are simple (think Tiny Wings except you get to destroy castles, eat knights, and dodge lava), the upgrade system is fun as you buy huge swords for your princess and dragon armor (and you get coins at a rate that actually lets you upgrade at a reasonable pace) and overall, a great little game!
My liking for dragons pulled me to this game, so I had to try it. The overall concept is pretty good, and I like the way the game is set up. There are no major bugs or issues worth complaining about, so that’s pretty cool. I think what could make this game better, though is if you add more into it. Maxing our on all skills is fairly easy, and I think more upgradables would be nice. This game is great, and I would reccomend this game to anyone who has a liking for medieval atmospheres and dragons.
Fun times to be had. Kill 5 minutes, kill 30 minutes, this game is good for more. I have a couple requests and a glitch to report. Request 1: deeper level Request II: wider FoV Request C: add new power ups Glitch: when you get a dragon powerup just before the boss screen and you're holding the screen to make it dive below the earth, you can actually get stuck in the earth. Below where you're supposed to be, in the dark earth which is normally the barrier. You're stuck till you die, happens quite often. But you don't have much of a choice but to dive because the bosses are already shooting their deadly powers at you and they still do damage. So, all in all, very fun game. Mahalo
Fun game but needs better upgrades. It would be nice for the special dragons to have more armor and possibly an upgrade to make the dragon have more time. There are some glitches such as the enemies will stuck high in the air. You cannot see them or fight them but they continue to bomb and hurt you. The movement could be improved. Too many times the lava comes up without warning and one winds up hitting it as there is nothing you can do to miss it. Another improvement would be to have the sheep in the game add health when you eat them.
I love this game and it was a real good time killer that a used when I was bored and such or just wanted to something for fun. The game never had ads it had it app purchases but I don't buy things off apps since it's free to play for me. Then when I see in the the App Store it now costs 2 dollars instead of it being free so I'm glad in the end I got it for free😀
