Thank you for playing! This update includes performance optimizations to improve stability.
This version of Dominoes by MobilityWare is a fantastic modernization of the classic tile game. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the UI—everything from the tile size to the background animations feels polished and 'premium.' I particularly enjoyed the inclusion of different modes like All Fives and Draw, which cater to different skill levels and strategic depths.
The 'Special Opponents' feature is a great touch, giving the AI players more personality than just a standard difficulty slider. The game also features a ranked leaderboard and daily challenges, which provide a nice sense of progression for those who play regularly. Whether you're a pro or someone who hasn't played since childhood, the tutorial makes it easy to jump back in. It’s a relaxing, high-quality way to enjoy a timeless classic on your phone.
Classic Draw & All Fives Modes
Unique Character AI Opponents
Ranked Global Leaderboards
Daily Streak Rewards
Customizable Board & Tile Skins
In All Fives mode, focus on making the ends of the dominoes on the board add up to a multiple of five. This is the fastest way to rack up points.
If you are playing Draw mode and can't make a move, you'll need to draw from the boneyard. Use this to your advantage to find tiles that can block your opponent's next move.
Yes, you can play all modes against AI opponents completely offline, making it great for travel.
I was raised playing dominoes. We play Muggins dominoes. You can only score by your pips adding up to increments of 5s. When you domino your opponents left over points come to you rounded off to the nearest 5. Score is kept by houses. Each house is 50 points, 200 points is game. My family came from Arkansas.. It was a great honor to be my Granny’s partner against family friends. We played double 6, partners. If you drew 3 or more spinners in a hand you returned 1 or 2 and drew again. Spinners can be a great advantage, if you know how to play or they can be a great hinderance. There is strategy in dominoes. Don’t complain if you don’t know how to play to your advantage. Causing some one to go to the boneyard is good strategy ❣️
I don’t mind almost ads as long as they don’t interfere w play, freeze up, lock the game, or last too long. The ads w this game only play 1 in btwn each round. I can handle that. What I can’t handle is this👇🏻 I’ll use Royal Match ad as example since theirs is the most intrusive. Ad begins w a video cameo, at least 5 sec long, w/o an X out option. There is a forward to end (>|) option which when pressed takes you to the next frame, “loading” of the ad (if lucky), most of the time, while waiting to load, ad locks then restarts w cameo from beginning. If it does progress, the next frame is a video example of the advertised game Royal Match, after a few sec’s of this, still no X out option, you can only >| to next frame of ad, again, if lucky, you’ll arrive a pic of the RM game add, where after 5 sec’s you’ll finally get the option to X out of the ad, YET it opens the App Store to GET the RM game. User then must click done in that frame to take them back to the pic of said ad & X out AGAIN. So, if the entire ad progresses as it should & user taps each >| option in each of its frames (5), then x twice, they will finally get out of the ad which takes 10-15 sec’s. NOT 5 as advertised by Mobility Ware. When the ad DOES NOT progress as it should, frequently the case, user will find themselves in a force quit to reload the game only to get through one round then start all over again. It’s a roll of the dice. So, ask yourself if the headache, aggregation & wasted time is worth it.
*Update* I have played this game out to diamond level and suddenly the AI nearly always has the right tile and generally scores using them. When it does not, it only needs to draw one or two tiles and frequently scores on them. If (rarely) it has to draw multiple tiles they are magically exactly the ones it needs to beat you soundly. When you need to draw, it will be at least 3 or 4…sometimes 6 or 7…tiles and will be littered with high numbers so when (!) the AI wins it will pick up 20 to 40 points, a feat extremely rare for you. Too frustrating, I am done! Two stars because it was fun up until platinum 1! So I read that this game cheats. If it does, why the 4 star rating?Because I still like it when it is not cheating. I don’t mind losing when the AI is not so blatantly cheating. Maybe make a game setting where you can see the AI’s tiles so it can’t cheat as easily? I have been playing a while now, it can be lots of fun…and maddeningly frustrating. As another reviewer said, you can tell when you are going to lose. One clue is you have an incredible run and are up by a seemingly insurmountable lead…get ready for a historic comeback by the computer! You will not be able to make a move the AI cannot score on. Or you just had a crazy big win…next game you will not have a chance. You will win like crazy when you first get the game and when you reach gold or platinum, you ‘hand’ will rarely contain tiles that can score. The one way I found to get back to at least even dealing is to turn the game off for a while…I find after a day you will have a blowout game, then close one or two…and then back to cheatsville! It is a fun version of dominoes, I just the AI were more even.
Every game from this company is not only challenging and teaches you to play your best game but is 100%free and not terrible on adds I recommend you play all the games this company offers and delete the rest I promise only good experiences and sometimes they freeze mainly my Wi-Fi I log and and back in and it leaves me exactly where I was the best out there I have tried a lot and now I can say I have deleted a lot now I have to decide which game I want to play THE BEST can’t wait for more games from them
1. Criss-Cross Dominos selection when one domino crosses another often does not allow you to select the domino you want to score the most points. 2. Often, the computer will place your domino by the wrong selection in a quick fashion to avoid you scoring or placing your domino where it wants it to be to allow them to score. 3. Perhaps the most Egregious Problem is the hoarding of a certain numbered die (blank, 1,2,3,4,5,6) to block you out, and forcing you to endlessly pull from the pile. The odds of a player holding all or a substantial number of the blanks,1,2,3,4,5 or 6 sided dominos are highly improbable! 4. Lastly, miracle comebacks, scoring sprees often occur, by your being unable to go out! Then the game directs you, by only making available, the use of the certain dominos it needs you to play for it to score. In a computer controlled predetermined fashion. 5. By seeing your hand. By not knowing what dominos are left to pull from. Often the computer pulls until it selects a domino it needs to score! Notoriously, cheats!
Your game is good for some time and then when you get higher it does not dispense the dominoes evenly among the players, giving those already in the tier an advantage over the new comer. All those players do is block to score points out of your hands; and the computer makes sure that every time you play the opponent has the dominoes to play and score every time….. not the way to play the game. Please fix this so that all playing has a chance to enjoy the game. THANK YOU!!!!!!
Many, many times when I have played a domino that I know will block the house opponent, the domino is moved from the position I play. The block I set up is instantly foiled because it is instantly moved to a position that will allow the house to play and many times score big. I have contacted MobilityWare about this and they refuse to answer why this is happening. They got back to me once to say they would look into it which never happened. Now this continues to happen and many times cost me the game. This is deliberately set up to cause you to lose so they can sell more ads. I don’t mind being beat fairly, but moving your dominos so the house can play is ridiculous.
As you can see from a large number of reviews, the game starts cheating as you progress. It doesn’t matter how carefully you place a domino on the chain you want it, if it will hurt the computer, it will move it clear across the board to a different chain thus giving you zero points and allowing the computer to then place and score points. It’s one thing if you kinda throw a domino in the middle and the computer has to choose where to put it; its another when it moves clear across the board in an obvious manner so you can’t score. I don’t understand why the programmers of these games create obvious cheats. What is the point? Why do they want to upset us?
