Dino Quake is a punchy, vibrant throwback to the days when arcade games were about one thing: high-scoring mayhem. The 'stomp' mechanic is incredibly satisfying; there’s a real sense of weight and power when your little T-Rex lands and the whole screen shudders. It’s that perfect brand of 'easy to learn, hard to master' gameplay that keeps you restarting for just one more attempt at a perfect combo.
The 16-bit art is gorgeous, full of expressive character animations and colorful prehistoric backgrounds. It captures the charm of 'Bubble Bobble' or 'Snow Bros' without feeling like a simple clone. The boss fights provide a nice change of pace, requiring more precise platforming than the standard mob-clearing levels. It’s a pure, unadulterated shot of nostalgia that works perfectly on a touchscreen. A great choice for quick arcade thrills.
Vibrant 16-bit pixel art
Over 50 levels of mayhem
Challenging boss encounters
Local leaderboard support
Try to stun multiple enemies at once with a single large quake. Kicking a stunned enemy into others creates a combo that grants massive bonus points.
Collect fruit and special eggs to unlock temporary abilities like increased speed or a roar that stuns the entire screen.
You start as a T-Rex, but you can unlock a Raptor and a Triceratops as you progress.
The game is a very addicting arcade style game, and the way you can hit enemies is really satisfying, the bosses are really fun to fight and I have some suggestions to add if you want to update the game, you can add a level select and add some crossover character from some of you’re other games such as Alex from cat tales,a boss rush with all the bosses from the game the main mode, and online multiplayer.
This not only a nostalgia hit, but also a game that you just want to keep playing! The price is perfectly justified and if you like retro games with insanely accurate pixel art animations then this game is what you’ve been looking for! Thanks to the devs that made this game, and I hope you guys get even more successful <3
Good game but please make it so you can drop down by holding the quake button
If you are a fan of bubble bobble or similar games, you’ll love this! I noticed a bug where the right arrow keeps registering a button press even when I’m not pressing it though.
