Superb, but difficult
Sat Jul 07 2018 Peter MaurerI love puzzle games. Riven, The Room Series, Tengami, etc. so of course I had to get this one. This game is perfectly executed as far as characters and controls, but it is also extremely difficult! You really need to think outside of the box to move forward. My only constructive criticism is that for cutscenes, you can skip them just by holding your finger on the screen, which is just a bit too easy. And there’s no way to replay it, so key information can be missed.

Sun Jan 06 2019 3littlebirdsmamaThis game is exactly what I was looking for! I miss the old point & click adventures from when I was a kid, and this is wonderfully done! Some of the puzzles were difficult but the characters were hilarious and I like how long the game was. I don’t like the press and hold to skip scenes. I missed some dialogue by accident because I would touch the screen thinking it was time for me to do something and I skipped stuff instead. And there’s no way to go back and hear it again. So that was frustrating. I’d rather have a confirmation do you want to skip this? All in all, one of the best games I have played in a long time and I hope to find more games like this one!

This app delivers with both the original graphics and the updated graphics as options. I loved it and continue to enjoy it. Buy it now! You won’t regret it. :) Developers: Please consider a part 2! Get the old cast together and see what new adventures you guys can come up with!
Hilarious and a great game.
Sun Jan 28 2024 MurdercrowI played Day of the Tentacle back when it came in a box with five floppy discs to install it. To see it getting remastered I had to try it again. It is just as hilarious, challenging, and addictive the second, third, and fourth times. I even have my ten year old addicted to the game. One of the most memorable and fun games I have ever played and that’s saying a lot.

My only complaint is I wish you could see the list of achievements. It shows it at the top when you get it but it would be nice to see how many more I can get. Also you should make a DOTT #2
Great!! Fix for no sound!
Thu Mar 25 2021 itslandersonPlayed this game as a kid in the 90s and loved it!! Excited to play again! Was nervous to read reviews saying no sound, and when I started it I had no sound either and was worried! All you have to do and turn your phone off of silent mode. Fixed the problem!

This 1993 DOS Classic is an all time hit, and with remastered music as well the original, that is GREAT!!!!!!!!! Thank you double fine, for bringing this award winning point and click adventure title to IpadOS, IOS , And MACOS!!!
