+ Update new levels
+ Fix some bugs
- The game has potential, i played until the dumpling level with the subtitles said cake instead of dumplings while the cooking process so i think some subtitles need to be looked over - Ads are, well ads but like kinda in your face but not fully annoying - I’m excited to see this game progress
The game is very good IF it weren’t for the timers! This forces ads galore to continuously add more time just to get thru one level since they make it time out so fast. Wanna get around that? Welp, each level only gives 20 coins but ONE ad-free timer voucher costs 800 coins! So you’d have to watch 40 ads in order to afford one time single use voucher since u have to watch 2 ads per level in order to beat it. This is not supposed to be a game that you have to “beat” tho. It’s supposed to be a fun relaxing game with nice graphics and pretty detailed cooking steps (w/o being tedious though) but the short timers contradict that. This forced u to spend money. U can’t even pay for ad-free timer ad ons tho! Play the other cooking games that are copies of this one. This one took a great game & turned it into a panicky race that it’s not designed for. Notice how the devs don’t even reply. That’s another thing that shows they don’t care abt feedback which is funny since they sure do put money-hungry aspects in this game. This is supposed to be an experience more than a game
I enjoy these type of cooking games so I was thrilled to download it. There are a lot of ads. I even went so far as to purchase the ‘No Ads’ option as it was disrupting gameplay and I enjoy it enough that I want to support to developers - however, even with no ads purchased I am still getting ads before gameplay, which is terribly disappointing. There shouldn’t be an option to purchase an ad free play unless it is truly ad free. Perhaps I was confused between the two ad free options. If I had know the cheaper one meant still having ads I would have purchased the slightly more expensive version. 🤷🏻♀️ There’s not really a way to contact the developer to get a refund to then purchase the higher level of ad free play.
I have been playing for a while and I bought the no ads, and the no time. It was working well for a while. I had no ads and had fun. Since the last update though some reason I have ads again anytime I try and start a level. I’m not gonna play until the ads are gone again. I didn’t pay money to have no ads only to have them forced on me again. I have emailed support and they haven’t gotten back so I hope this gets fixed. Once it does I’ll change my review to something better.
I recently got this app, and it’s been very fun. However, level 8 (vermicelli) doesn’t load. I have no connection issues, so it’s definitely something with the game. I’m really disappointed since I was having fun, and now I can’t continue. It would be great if you could fix this :)
The game is great until I got to level 16, the dragon fruit level, where there’s a game breaking bug. You can’t scoop more than one scoop of dragon fruit into the bowl to soak no matter what you do. There’s no way to skip the step either, and you can’t go on to other levels until you pass that one.
Love the game however when I close the game I have to restart my iPad to get it to load again. Screen just stuck on loading if not hard restarted. Game would be more enjoyable and convenient if I didn’t have to this every time.
Dumplings in this game is actually called Baozi, and the introduction of mandu (specifically introduced as Korean food), yet dumplings as Chinese food, even using a wrong name, makes me uncomfortable. And what a coincidence that mandu just like har how (shrimp dumpling), a kind of Chinese food too. Don’t want to be such oversensitive, but none of Chinese food in this game was specifically introduced as Chinese food. At least correct the wrong name of dumplings, thanks. By the way, game is not bad.
