Good game, but could be great

UPDATE: as the game progresses, the instructions get a bit more tolerable, so I’m amending that part of the review. However, I still have problems with the controls. They’re just so awkward and small; so easy to miss while you’re driving. I love the fundamentals of this game. The projects, the equipment, the finance, all of it is cool. The execution is a little awkward. Vehicle turning control is too small and so it’s difficult to keep vehicles under control. The instructions are also a bit too rigid. “Bring X vehicle to gravel pit. Fill it with gravel. Go to the site” and if you do any of those things out of order, you’re stuck until you follow it. That’s unnecessary. Just say “bring a load of gravel” for example and stop breaking it down like that. Also, stop requiring certain vehicles for certain tasks if another will do. For example, I was instructed to bring a backhoe for a job that I wanted to do with a crane, and couldn’t proceed until I brought the backhoe. Simply, the job instructions are inflexible and kind of a burden. Fix that and the vehicle controls and this game gets five stars from me.

Great game, can't wait for the bug fixes and optimizations

This game is great and reminds me of all of the glory from the previous two games. Of course, I know you guys are working on all the bug fixes and stuff. I do have a request though. Can you please smooth out the driving and hydralic controls? Here, they seem a bit shaky. I actually find that I most enjoyed the controls from Construction Simulator 2014. Those controls were perfect for me, both with driving and hydraulics. Everything was completely smooth. Can you please work towards that in this game? I'd really appreciate it. Also, can you please remove the delay caused by switching from parked to reverse gear? There's an annoying two-second delay, which I guess is mildly annoying to say the most. Other than that, the only things I've noticed are the occasional dropping frame rate and little bugs and glitches that every new game has, but nothing I can't deal with knowin they'll be fixed soon. I'm sure you guys are working hard on patching and fixing everything. Good luck, and amazingame so far.

Bugs

Unloading gravel/ soil etc out of main truck glitches and looks like a tsunami wave and sometimes prevent mission completion, Theres a glitch when you reset your vehicle it flys into the air and I achieved 90kmh from it hahaha, Also theres a pretty annoying bug when depending on where you are even in the middle of the road with some missions setting up the crane will not allow you to use controls cause its not flat enough but in reality you should be able to set up even if 2 arms are on the sidewalk.. but it happens when you plainly in the flat road in some spots. Anyways great game so far got it a couple days ago and have 24+hrs already gameplay this game is awesome, looking forward to more vehicles etc keep it up!

Great game play (one problem)

More options to choose from in vehicles, machines, especially settings... why are the trucks flat in the front?? Lol My major thing is riding in the driver seat trying to look around an it fixes itself helps a lot but definitely is a difficult thing to do when driving massive machines where u can’t see the ground m, that’s another thing I’d like to know where my machine is going while In the drivers seat! The most important is backing up going in reverse to back a trailer or in a machine for the matter, it takes to long to get back there to view and it’s automatic so by the time I’ve seen the directions my tonka dump truck is going I’ve done ran into the a pole or a brick laying on the side of the road! Instantaneously coming to a dead stop! The financial system could be worked on! Needs more trailers an trucks! That’s what it needs other than that I hurt myself playing this game it’s very freaking wicked cool awesome sauce! I honestly love the simplicity to the construction sim 2 thooooo which is weird!

Great game, but could be better

This game is on another level. Whether its the Jobs, The equipment, and even the way the financing works. There is not another game better than this or that could even compare to this. Although there are some changes that could simply make it a way better game. Such as fixing the controls. They are very small so someone with big fingers can really use them with ease. And they are a little bit slow to respond, such as the road vehicles. There could also be a change made to dirt physics. Such as when you are in an excavator you can push dirt or pull it with the bucket, rather than only being able to pick it up and dump it. Other than that this is an amazing game and is worth the money. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, and enjoyable game. :)

What am i a child?

Just get the previous one. The amount of hand holding in this game is unbearable. Rarely do you feel like this is your company and that you’re make your own decisions. You can have a assisted mode for the younger audience but it makes if unbearable for the vets of this game. All you need to tell me is what job to do and ill find out by myself. Not baby me through the whole career mode. The “drive here” check points in jobs are absolutely unnecessary and make me hate this game more. This game doesn’t allow you to learn the hard way. In the original game if you forgot to put up the sides on the bed then there goes your cargo. If i want to have the bucket out on a excavator or a backhoe and drive then its my decision. Having to reset the arm just to reposition every time is annoying. Not everything needs to be on the “hold settings” bring back buttons especially for activating a tool. This game was a massive downgrade from the previous installment and i hope they don’t keep going down this path in the future

Good job

I played a played the lite version of one of the older construction simulators and was very impressed. So when this game came around I decided to get the full version and boy did it not disappoint! The graphics are excellent, featuring some of the best terrain physics i have ever seen on mobile. The progression system is really nice with the ability the make actual progress without having micro transactions be the only way to play. The ui is simple and intuitive. Finally, the only bugs to speak of (as least for me) are minor and more amusing than frustrating. This game is definitely a worthwhile purchase and i hope to see more good work from the developers in the future

Best sim game ever

Long story mode with many optional side missions. Plenty of vehicles with my different roles. Big brands included in the game make it feel a bit more real. Great physics engine that make earth calculations realistic (excavating and loading a truck for example). Amazing graphics for a mobile game, easily reaches console quality (the 3D character models walking the streets add a nice touch). All of this for four dollars! The only down side is with great physics engines and great graphics comes great battery drain. If you have a newer phone with a bigger battery you should be fine for extended gameplay, but if you don’t you might need to play while on a charger.
