Ciclis 3D is a surprisingly deep cycling simulator that focuses on the tactics of the peloton rather than just frantic button-mashing. It captures the essence of grand tour racing—managing your energy levels, choosing when to break away, and tucking in behind other riders to save stamina (drafting).
The 3D graphics are functional and clear, which helps when you're trying to spot an opening in the pack. It’s a niche game, but for fans of professional cycling, it’s one of the few mobile titles that understands the sport isn't just about who pedals the hardest; it's about who plays the smartest. The AI is aggressive and will try to bridge gaps, making every race feel like a tactical battle to the finish line.
Realistic 3D environments
Stamina and drafting mechanics
Multiple race types and tours
Intelligent AI peloton
Customizable rider stats
Stay close to the wheel of the rider in front of you. You'll see an energy-saving indicator; use this to recover your stamina before the final climb or sprint.
If you decide to attack, make sure you have enough 'juice' left. A premature attack will leave you exhausted, allowing the pack to swallow you up in the final kilometers.
Yes, the game features varied topography including flat sprints, rolling hills, and grueling mountain climbs that affect stamina differently.
Great game. Fun. Played and continue to play. Placed third. More played the more you learn to pace yourself. Only downside is you only could buy energy if you place or if you conserve. Other than that not bad. Perhaps allow for different views and areas to play. Riders tend to have different strengths but no way to tell unless you play it several times. Still fun.
Nice Update !!!
lol
I bought this app since Im an avid cyclist and follower of the sport. The game isn't bad, but the behavior of the peloton is insanely chaotic, and behaves like its 'every man for himself'. Attacks from riders come every few seconds, and riders in front of you would rather blindly disperse and break formation as opposed to maintaining a cohesive single line of riders. It makes the game a bit more exciting perhaps, but also more frustrating. It would be neat it you had a team member who works on your behalf.
Drafting is the only way to win. Always stay with the lead group but behind the leaders. The only time you should be leading is just before the sprint, mountain, or finish line. Don't stay directly behind the rider in front of you but a bit to the inside to keep him from turning across the lane. This will block him from zig zagging across the lane.
If you're a bike racer or ever participated in an amateur bike race on the continent, this is exactly what they're like: Attacks from the gun, fighting for wheels in the gutter, struggling over climbs, it's all there. Only problem is you need to place in the top 3 on each stage to earn money to buy food to stave off fatigue in the next stage -- not easily done. Kudos for the designers for trying.
Very hard to put down. This game is really exiting! Three things that could be better: 1 Add some corners. 2 Make a leaders jersey for the current leader in the general classification. 3 Have the winner of the stage raise his arms in the air after winning.
This is a great game! The only thing tht could be better is the graphics and there should be turns on the races. Plus the other racers are always crashing into u and fighting 4 little insignificant positions
