Chameleon Run is the absolute pinnacle of the 'auto-runner' genre. While most runners are about survival, this is a game about rhythm, flow, and precision. The core mechanic is simple: you have to change your character's color to match the platform you're landing on. It sounds easy, but when you're jumping at high speeds, pulling off double jumps, and trying to collect 'smoking' crystals, it becomes an exhilarating test of reflexes.

The physics are what set it apart. There is a weight to the character that feels perfect, and the 'jump head' or 'double jump' mechanics allow for speed-running strategies that make the game infinitely replayable. The 3D graphics are crisp and colorful, and the soundtrack is a high-energy pulse that keeps you in the 'zone.' It’s a short experience, but every second is polished to a mirror finish.

When I first started off playing this title, I just did not get the appeal. But, once I figured out the gameplay mechanics and controls. Well, I instantly understood why this game is so lauded and just found it to be such a brilliant concept and such an enjoyable experience. I really enjoy and appreciate how each stage always has the three different goals that you can try to achieve and complete (after just finishing the level, of course). I have not really played a game on my mobile devices thus far that offered that type of replay-ability and I believe that it really enhances the overall quality of this title. In trying to achieve all of the goals you can try to get the perfect time, collect all of the regular crystals, collect all of the smoking crystals and last you can attempt to complete the stage without ever changing your color. I cannot remember the last time that I have felt this engaged with a mobile game and that I did not grow weary of it after a day, like I would with most copy-and-paste titles that I think clog up the App Store today, unfortunately. So, in conclusion, I want to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to this developer for not only creating, what I think is, such an amazing video game filled with lots of fun and novel features. But, also for the generosity of putting it up as the "Free App Of The Week", I am very grateful for that. Plus, the developer wasn't greedy like so many of his brethren. And he did not ruin the superb potential of the game by adding and utilizing, greed-driven in-app purchases like pretty much 95% of developers/companies do today in my opinion. I just love this game

It’s nice too see great games still being made today.I love the way it ports with Apple TV and playing it with the horipad ultra makes it seem like the good old days of gaming. as to now where you can immerse yourself in some of the most conceptive worlds for that time your playing it. Apple now works with Nintendo so I’m sure they together will have more opinions on making Apple Nintendo a please do take in consideration a hybrid may already exist particularly the switch! it ranges games from Apple third party developers So I’ve seen it Keep the material fresh Apple needs a game system and I really think in concept control and everything else Apple TV need more games like this one that ports in as a double standard 👌🏻

I never write reviews but this game really deserves the stars. It never stops being challenging, but never in that frustrating, seemingly impossible way. The different skills are clearly explained. I really like that the levels have multiple challenges after just completing the level, and then there are time challenges. Even after finishing all of that, I keep coming back to the game to try to beat my times. It never gets old-it’s not one of those where you finish the levels and may as well delete the app. Plus, when you die the level starts over immediately, and no ads! And creative, never seen another game like it. Great job on this app!

Great little mobile game

I have to admit that I haven't been hooked to a mobile game in years! But this little jewel got me coming back for more!! Minimalist and simple gameplay and controls its what makes it so awesome. Starts of easy, but the real challenge comes after the first few levels. One worng move and your dead, but there's no lives or IAP which is great, you just keep retrying the level until you master it. Then you have the simple challenges which will unclock extra levels. The only bad thing about this games is that it is "relatively short", there are like 20 levels, including the tutorials. I sure hope that the devs will add more, I'm even willing to pay for them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really love this game it was very lovely this is why I will give it five stars because of how good it was if anyone else gives it five stars I will love to be their friend because this game was totally good I loved every second of it if someone says one or two stars are three that’s so bad for you maybe it’s because you don’t know how to play it maybe 405 will be good I’m not saying that you don’t like it if it’s only one it’s OK will still be friends you know I want to sing you a song about this game it’s the best game of them all and you’ll be fine just come online and play the song in will be good so how do you like the song Tata for now

Such a wonderfully amazing game! I was addicted almost instantly. It provides such a nice, calming atmosphere, all while you rage over repeated failed attempts to reach the fabled crystal at the end of the track. It is very challenging at some points, yet it has such a simple and straightforward theme. The one caveat, like many other reviewers say, is the number of levels--it left me wanting just a bit more. However, I respect the time and effort that goes into each and every amazing level, and I greatly appreciate the developers of this great, time-consuming game. And, what's more, it's free--without any in-app purchases! Highly recommended!!! ~A Reviewer~

Amazing mechanics but not worth

I played this game on my friends iPad and I loved it. The concept is amazing and the detail they put into it is great. But I wouldn’t say that the 2 dollars if worth it. I say this because I finished the entire game in a week and now it just feels like I wasted my money on this game. I haven’t heard of any new update to this game in a long time. If you have a lot of money I recommend you get this game. It has super fun mechanics and it’s a fun game to play when your bored. Just noted that you may finish the game quickly if you have experience with other runner games. From -Skilxz

Was good at first, but the flaws started to show fast. There are 2-3 good fun levels, thin it keeps adding more and more before you can even fully understand the first few things. No change color change challenge. You can do this on almost every level with out the extra blocks. Thin adding the blocks for that challenge made me dislike the game. Thin I deleted the game after seeing, when you die on a block your next run it switches the color. So death now makes the game harder and knowing that the colors can change each run straight up ruined the game for me. So I give this a 3. For good concept love the platforming. Hate the small changes each run and the number of levels is very shallow. Like water in pavement shallow.
