Wish they made more like this

(Edit) <There's a glitch that force closes when using analyze. I kept trying to use it in magma ocean and it forced closed each time. Please fix.> For once I actually feel like the game I payed for is worth every penny. They put so much work into this and if they just made a game with this much effort every so often for the mobile market, they could change mobile gaming forever. It's like having one of the final fantasy's for ps2 but on your mobile device. Amazing story, balanced gameplay, lots of stuff to do and it's not short like I expected. I'm so pleased with Square Enix and this game that words can't describe how pleasing this game is to me. PLEASE square, put this much time into mobile games more often and I promise you that you'll make so much money and give so many people hope for mobile gaming. It's the first time I feel like square didn't con somebody out of money. Keep it up guys and you have my bills on an product of this caliber.

superb game.

i bought the first Chaos Rings but didn't get the second in time before it was pulled from the app store. needless to say i'm a big supporter of the series so when the forth installment came out, i waited two years to buy it. People who think this game is expensive are right however, it is also Four times bigger than the first one and four times the characters.. The gameplay is also more refined from the first one, with more summoners that can also be leveled up. How this game differentiates from the first is the it is in full 3-D and is more immersive/ interactive! Overall, The $20 price-tag is expensive, but considering that the game is more immersive with full3D, has extensive characters/environments, is 75+ hours long where most other mobile games are only 4-5 hours long and is specifically made for mobile more than justifies the cost! I can't wait for the direct sequel to Chaos Rings 3!!!

Fantastic

Played the whole game to 100% 2 times. Been playing again and again for a year and a half. Get ohz coins by doing quests or 30 at a time by reaching 100 floor of Magma Ocean. This storyline is excellent, better than Dragon Quest 3, better than any Zelda game I have ever played. Better get it now and play while you can. Square Enix likes to take away old chaos rings games. Some of the content is missing from the Apple Store. In the Google Play Store version of the game, the monsters in the arena go up to level 130 or something. But in my version, the monster levels stop at 58. Also, in the GPS version, you have the chance to discover and beat Adam. But, the quest doesn’t show up in the Apple version. Why don’t people talk about these inconsistencies?

Unplayable

Unfortunately, there is a bug thanks to the new iOS 13 update that makes playing this game impossible. All of the game’s controls are still located in their proper place on the screen, but the actual game is being displayed half way down the screen instead of in the center. What I mean is the top half of the screen is black while the bottom half of the screen displays the top half of the game. It really is a shame because I was 2/3s of the way through the game when I updated my phone. In my naivety, I deleted the app and reinstalled it to no avail. What’s worse, the game’s data saves locally on your phone which means my previous save got wiped when I uninstalled the app. I thought this might happen, but I decided to try regardless because the game is so good that I’m perfectly willing to start over from scratch and play it all again from the beginning. Unfortunately, I sacrificed my save for nothing. The glitch persisted, cementing this $20 purchase as a waste of money. I really hope SE fixes this game. I’ll change my review if so, but for now you should all just pass on this one.

I love it but

Square Enix I grew up playing your games, my dad played kingdom hearts my brother played pretty much everything and so am I but please I beg of you do a 15+year fan a favor and rerelease the other games in this series I never was able to finish the first one due to mental health issues and price constraint and I never even got to play the second one so if you could do that for me I would by them in a heartbeat as well as if you could put ff8 on here I love you guys and am looking forward to final fantasy 7 remake and kingdom hearts 3 re:mind and I need something to do while I wait so please and thank you for over a decade of perfect games I love you guys

Beautiful game

I love the design and colors and story line. Well done. My only wish, especially as I purchased the game so I own my copy, is that I have no way to earn ohnz coins faster. Items using ohnz coins are expensive but rewards for quests are cheap...only one per quest. Why can't I purchase more coin or maybe the quest levels should pay more depending on their level. Other than that this is the best game I have found in a long time. Hope you are creating more. Oh and I found this game at number three in the series and can't find the others at the App Store...is there a reason why they are no longer available?

New Favorite

The original Chaos Rings games will always hold a special place in my heart, but Chaos Rings 3 is my new favorite. The character development, changing story line, and the music are amazing. I love the gene system and the overall gameplay. My only problem is the silent main character and the difficulty of acquiring ohnz coins. I love the references to the earlier games and the hidden little Easter eggs you find as you talk to npcs throughout the game. Mixing the original music with the new music is also awesome and so nostalgic!

Please bring back the previous Chaos Rings titles :)

I feel that the Chaos Rings series is a bit underrated, and should be right up there with the other "non Final Fantasy" titles/series like Dragon Quest, the Mana series, etc. I've played through the very first Chaos Rings, and I immediately fell in love with it. And when I first saw the trailers for Chaos Rings III, I was ecstatic. However, life happens every now and then, and I unfortunately wasn't able to play through the other 2 titles (Chaos Rings Omega and Chaos Rings II) -- though I did purchase them. Now that I finally have time, I am unable to run the previous Chaos Rings titles, as they have been pulled from the App Store. It would be great if these wonderful games could be updated to run on current mobile operating systems. Thank you, and keep on creating, Square Enix! :)

Now, the last time Chaos Rings III had been updated was way back in August of 2016, well before any of the full screen iOS devices were released...
