Build A Train 2

Build A Train 2 is a wonderful expansion of a simple concept. While it might seem like a game for kids, there is a surprising amount of spatial logic involved in creating a functioning rail network. The physics of the train cars—how they swing around curves and interact with junctions—is handled with a lot of care. It’s a very tactile experience; dragging and snapping tracks into place feels immensely satisfying.

The 'Adventure' levels provide just enough of a puzzle challenge to keep adults engaged, while the 'Free Build' mode is a pure, creative sandbox. The graphics are clean and bright, and the sound of the 'chugga-chugga' is oddly therapeutic. It’s a gentle, well-made game that encourages experimentation and provides a great sense of accomplishment when your complex rail system finally completes a full loop.
