small visual improvements
Bacon – The Game is proof that a simple, absurd premise can be more addictive than a AAA title. The goal is straightforward: flip a piece of bacon onto things. These 'things' range from the Statue of Liberty to a cup of coffee to a literal 'sadness' (yes, a word). The physics are deliberately finicky, which creates a perfect balance of frustration and hilarity. When you finally land that floppy strip of bacon on a revolving planet after 50 tries, the sense of accomplishment is bizarrely high.
What makes this game special is its minimalist aesthetic and the developer's sense of humor. The sound design—the sizzle of the bacon and the dry, deadpan commentary—is top-tier. It doesn't take itself seriously, and that’s why it works. It’s the ultimate 'just one more try' game. There are hundreds of levels, and while some seem impossible, they never truly are. It’s a surreal, wonderful piece of mobile art that everyone should have on their phone for a quick laugh.
Hundreds of surreal and creative levels
Simple one-tap gameplay
Unique minimalist aesthetic
Hilarious and unexpected objects to bacon-ize
Wait for the bacon to stop sliding on the pan before you tap. A steady pan produces a more predictable arc. For tall objects, try to flick the pan upward quickly.
The bacon is floppy and unpredictable. Use the edges of objects to catch the bacon or let it drape over for a successful 'land'.
The game allows you to skip a level if you fail enough times, so you never get permanently blocked.
I just beat the game and my thing is on the way. Thanks to Philipp I have successfully persevered through the difficult levels and it feels so good. It may feel frustrating but just keep at it. I am proof that the game is completely possible and no levels are impossible to complete. I feel pretty neutral about bacon forever because it’s not really my style of game mode but some people probably enjoy it. I enjoy the creative level design and difficult challenges like the rotating elements and the fans. The trick is just to focus and play over and over. Good luck on the bonus levels. ALSO this game works with no internet. Although it would be awesome if you could add a way to publish your bacon studio levels and have it so you can play other peoples levels, I don’t know the logistics or anything but it could be by like up and down voting, you probably could use some AI to moderate but I have no idea but I would think that would be awesome. Maybe at least a way to send levels to your friends over text. I would also like the dynamic elements such as rotators, camera, and the wind thing. The only problem I had was at the end of the game and trying to claim my reward but I just emailed Mr. Stollenmayer and he helped me figure it out. The best parts of the game are in its design and integrity. Crazy how people are actually proud of me for completing this game, or at least they pretend to be. Putting bacon on everything imaginable is just so fun. Thank you Philipp for making this awesome game- Aiden
With bacon I mean. This game is so spectacular, it is my go to boredom buster! I have a hard time down loading a game and staying interested in it for a long time and this game has changed that! It is so creative, you flip bacon onto basically everything! Even Kevin Bacon! And to add on you can create your own levels with pictures or by drawing! They are also diverse. The hand that gives the bacon to flip on the pan has a option of changing the skin color to match your own! And if you earn Baconcoins (bitcoins, get it? 🤣) you can change what you are flipping whether it be a pickle, pancake or a rainbow, and if you want some frene nails for your hand you are welcome to buy those to (to get here you press the plus in the corner and go to boutique) Currently I am on level 265 and I am climbing on up the ladder. There are certain levels that’s I can spend over 30 minutes on and some that take one flip of the bacon. Unlike some other games you will never expect what type of level you will encounter next! It might seem hard to believe but there is technique to flipping it, I won’t spoil the secret but you’ll figure it out. Even when you think you have mastered it you'll get your self into a pig of a predicament and spend your day trying to get slippery bacon onto a stack of turkeys. Overall I don't have any complaints thus far and highly recommend this creative game! 🥓❤️🥓❤️🥓❤️🥓
Really, I’m not one to write reviews. I saw searching for a game that would keep me busy. I passed many, many games, checking reviews and looking at videos of the games, but never saw something I’d really play. Then I saw it. Bacon—the game, or whatever it’s called. It caught my eye for two reasons. One: bacon? Really? Who makes games about bacon? What does this game do? And two: it looked really cute, like a little, fun, AND cute game I can play and send my friends pictures of me playing it. I downloaded it, and I’ve been playing nonstop. I might not be one to write reviews, but really, I'm not one to give up, either. It was a little frustrating, trying to put the bacon on the things, but I got through it (and was so proud when I did). The concept is so weird, trying to put bacon in things? And at first, I was afraid of downloading it and being bored of it, but that didn’t happen. Bacon is also one of my favorite foods, so that’s also pretty cool. Not to mention, but it’s FUNNY. Put the bacon on Mona Lisa? Then you put your face on Mona Lisa’s face? Come on! If that isn’t funny I don’t know what is! (Other than screaming goats, but were getting a little distracted...) So, if you like floppy bottle, you should probably like this cause there mostly the same. I think the same company made them but I don’t pay attention to that stuff anyway. It’s also got levels, so make sure you know that before downloading. A couple of other things, too. I’ve only had Bacon for like, I don’t know maybe a whole day. It’s really fun and I can’t get my eyes off it, which is probably bad, but who cares. I am so honored that this game was made! Thank you and GOODBYE!!
At first when I saw this game, I thought it would be a simple pastime to appease the dopamine goblin in my brain. But oh no, dear reader, it has become far more. You see it was just that, a simple means by which to stimulate my brain, but as I progressed it morphed into a realization. We are all bacon, all trying to flip and dance our way onto an obscure object of our fascination. You and I, we start out easily mastering the first levels, but then it gets harder to quiet the demons. The silence is too loud, the sizzles burn in your ears. It gets harder and harder until-for the first time-you give up. You give in to that skip button. “Just once,” you say. “I’ll get through them all and circle back to Pinocchio.” No. You keep skipping and running until all that’s left to do at the end is face the ones you could not. You’re stronger now, more resilient. You understand the mechanics of flipping a two-dimensional bacon on a two-dimensional pan. But the demons now are disquieted. You are disquieted. You search for a bacon prize you will never have. Because, in all those condensed moments at the end, you are faced with an insurmountable hurdle. 11/10, good gameplay. Came for the bacon, stayed for the story.
This game, this wonderful game did not seem like much when I saw it. I thought it would be just a chill thing to play every now and then, but no. No no no. This game is a beautiful work of art created by wonderful people. Nothing is as perfect as this game. I knew the moment I flipped a piece of bacon onto Mona Lisa with my face on it, I would love this game more than any game I’ve ever played. Any negative reviews I don’t understand. Why would anyone feel badly towards this game. I feel as if people don’t appreciate true art. I want anybody who is reading this review to download this game now. The mechanics are great, every level gives me immense joy, and has given me something to do when I was at a point of intense boredom. The customization is phenomenal, the levels are all unique, and basically no ads whatsoever! I love this game overall because all the levels are unique, it’s completely original, the mechanics and physics are wonderful and I’ve only watched a few ads. I will remember this game for the rest of my life. You should too.
This game has a simplicity that makes it fun. The challenges definitely get harder as you go along, and some I can’t seem to get a few levels after many, many, many tries (cough cough the bacon flag) but other than that it was good. Was it the most engaging thing I’ve ever done... probably not, but still it’s perfect for when you have time to kill or just need a break. Anyway, it exceeded my expectations of what I thought it was going to be. My only thing is, will there be more levels? I’ve basically completed them all 😕 so overall good game you should definitely get it it’s fun while it lasts Edit: ok so basically the best thing about this game was that it let you CHOOSE if you wanted to skip a level by watching an ad, which was great because you only watched ads if you wanted to and it kept the game being free. But nowwww there’s an add after a certain number of tries :( pretty upset not gonna lie. It’s ok though I didn’t put down a star or anything because I understand that the people who made the game have to make money. Just a thought for people who think the might like this app, just be kinda prepared for ads
I’m really not one to write reviews but I wanted to express how surprised I was when I downloaded this app and began playing it. So first off, the concept is crazy, but also unique to say the least. I really downloaded this game with no expectations, it actually was recommended to be by the App Store and I decided to download it on the spot without looking at the reviews. I will start off by saying that if you’re the kind of person who likes to play games/apps that have any sort of story or any kind of purpose at all this is not the app for you. I will say however that the game design and idea are simple. You try to get bacon to land on a variety of random objects. Again, the controls are simple, the idea is simple, the game itself is simple but is well made! It’s just one of those apps you play when you’re bored, and there’s nothing wrong with that! BUT, the single most important thing that sets this app apart from the others is that it has VERY minimal ads. I’ve only watched an ad one time and I’m one level 35 because you have the choice to watch an ad to skip a level. The lack of ads really ads to the vibe of the app itself, it’s super clean, simple, and minimal.
Every morning, at 6:00 AM, I wake up in my blanket that looks like bacon, and my head, resting on my pillow that smells of bacon. I get up and take a shower. I use my bacon-smelling shampoo, body wash, and conditioner that makes me smell like bacon. Afterwards I use my bacon-themed toothbrush and brush my teeth with bacon-flavored toothpaste, which makes my breath smell like bacon. Afterwards, I saunter downstairs into my kitchen to cook myself a nice serving of bacon. Chewy, fatty, just the way I like it. Afterwards, I get in my car which has a bacon-colored fuzzy dice dangling from the rearview mirror, and drive off to work at the bacon factory. I work as a bacon supervisor, overseeing those that produce the bacon that go through our various machines that make bacon bacon. Our pay is bacon, our break room is stocked full of bacon, the whole factory is nothing but bacon, and thats what we live for, bacon. When I get home from work, I grab myself a serving of bacon soup and chow down. I enjoy eating my bacon soup as I type out this review about flipping bacon on random objects. If I could give it more stars, I would
