Game is great, needs TLC

I got this game through KK and ended up loving it. Then 2 weeks later I got the other one that’s essentially the same and love it just as much. HOWEVER, there was a glitch of sorts with my account on the other version. It had made a different account and started me over. I tried reaching out to see if they could fix it. They responded fairly quickly the first time and asked for my screen name or player ID. Since then it’s been 3 days. I’m on a time limit for goals in KK. So, I looked around trying to fix it myself, nothing worked. I ended up opting to delete this “new account” and that just started me fresh again. Unfortunately when I opened the Arrow app, it had also deleted the account on here. It should warn you it will delete the account for ALL apps. That was 3 weeks of about 100 completed puzzles. GONE. I don’t know if I have it in me to start over. I also cannot reach my goals on KK now because they’re weekly. PLEASE find a solution to the account issues. Aside from that, the only other issue is the ADs! I can handle most of them. But the relentless ones during events like Sky Quest are TOO MUCH. Trying to focus and figure out a word and boom AD. As far as the game itself, it is awesome. I loved it so much that I hardly touched any other games that I have. I would absolutely return and add one more star if I could get my account back.

If you say “spin again” it means another spin not you just skipped to try to try for a different outcome that would be a Re-spin. Especially if I have to watch a video to earn it. Right out the gate I already dislike the reward system. I thought I was going to get a second spin when you asked for me if I would like to spend again, not lose the bigger prize I just received for a smaller one and then have to watch two videos instead of one. This is a very first training game and no instructions on exactly how to play the game. I suppose you’re just supposed to figure it out as you go not everybody knows how to play crosswords maybe I should suggest a few pop-ups to explain what it is that is going on and how to use the board..

Good but unplayable: Ad time > game time

The actual game is quite fun, though pretty easy. The problem is the amount of ads. They rotate 2-3 as that come up at essentially every possible moment: after a round. In order to proceed to the next ANYTHING. A small prize is offered after every round, and it looks like you're given a choice to watch an ad for it or forego the prize... but guess what happens when you say no? Yup an ad. 10 ads in less than 10 minutes is typical for me. Apparently they recently added an option to pay for an ad-free experience, but it's $5.99 for 3 days. Seriously! I don't understand the 4.9 reviews. I gave it 3 stars only because the actual game is enjoyable, though I think I'm done trying to play it here. A shame, really.

Ads are becoming a problem

I love this game and while I can handle most games with ads (and even this one most days) there are two casino ads that are almost impossible to close out of. The X shows in the corner, you try to click it and are habitually taken to your browser and then the App Store. You have to let the ad sit and “simmer” essentially for 5 solid minutes before it lets you close it. More often than not, I end up closing out of the app completely and either trying again or just giving up. You can pay to remove ads, sure, but it’s only for a week. There’s no way to pay one fee and remove ads for good (with the exception of watching to gain coins) like literally any other game app.

Too Many Ads

It’s sad how a really great game can be ruined with the number and length of ads. I started this game from KashKick and earned my reward. It was a keeper and I would have continued to play every day if not for the ads. Every review is the same and the developers are allowing the frequency and length of ads to ruin a great game. I’d purchase a “no ad” package if it were monthly (for a reasonable price). I accept ads as it’s the way games make money; however, playing for 20 seconds followed by a 90 sec ad is beyond unreasonable. And throwing in ads in the middle of play interrupts my ability to complete the puzzle. I’ll check back occasionally to see if anything changes, otherwise will delete this one and move on.

Disappointing Performance Issues

As a big-time word gamer, I had high hopes for this game, expecting it to become my new favorite. Unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal. Within just five minutes of gameplay, my tablet became uncomfortably hot to the touch. Hoping it was a one-off issue, I tried playing on my phone, only to encounter the same problem. This game seems to demand an excessive amount of power from devices, causing them to overheat quickly. Before anyone suggests that the issue might be with my devices, let me clarify: I recently purchased both my tablet and phone, and they are in perfect working condition. Due to these performance issues, I will be uninstalling the game and looking for a better alternative. It’s a shame, as I was really looking forward to enjoying it.

Lost my profile :(

Really liked this game! I had checked it out from an offer wall and actually enjoyed the game a lot. But when I had almost reached the last goal for the offer wall, it suggested I save progress. Thinking this might help me level up faster, I linked an account to save my game progress and it erased everything! So now i won’t be able to reach all of the goals on time and I have no desire to start over after everything I had already completed in the game. It’s such a let down. Also there’s a TON of ads in between each turn so it is not for the impatient. Man, I’m so aggravated that my game reset. I am just going to quit playing.

The ads ruin this app

The way that the ads completely ruined this app is crazy. Majority of the time, the ads don’t work and freeze. I have to close and reopen the app multiple just to play 1 game. During my turn, the game freezes because it’s trying to shove 30 ads in the top bar within the 60 seconds for my turn so I just get to sit and stare at the timer waiting for it to start moving again hoping my letter tile doesn’t freeze mid air just to put it in its spot. Having to pay $5 for 3 days of no ads is highway robbery. $50/month to play a game with no ads? A one time payment of $5 for an ad free game would suffice. There is nothing special about this game that would make it worth $50/month to play so the app actually works.
