Arranger is one of the most creative games I’ve played in years. The central mechanic—that the world is a giant sliding puzzle and you are the piece that moves it—is constantly being reinvented. Just when you think you’ve mastered it, the game introduces a new way for the grid to behave that makes you rethink everything.
The art style is gorgeous, as you’d expect from the Braid artist, and Jemma’s journey is genuinely touching. It’s also incredibly accessible; I love that the developers included 'skip' options because they clearly want you to experience the world without hitting a brick wall. It’s a perfect mobile experience—brief, clever, and absolutely beautiful. A true indie masterpiece.
Innovative 'world-move' grid mechanic
Charming story from the writer of Carto
Visuals by the legendary artist behind Braid
Breezy gameplay with no tedious inventory or XP management
Remember that moving yourself moves everything else in your row or column. Use the 'wrapping' mechanic to move objects from one side of the screen to the other.
If a puzzle feels too difficult, Arranger offers assist options that can give you a hint or even let you skip the puzzle entirely so you can stay focused on the story.
Yes, there is a standalone version where you can play the opening for free and buy the full game via a one-time purchase.

The temptation to tell players is clear, because so many games do that, but Arranger's simplicity assists in letting players get messy.
