Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete (the 'C' edition) is exactly what the fans wanted. By stripping away the microtransactions and the constant 'always-online' requirement, Nintendo has preserved the core charm of the game. It feels much more like a traditional Animal Crossing experience now. You can focus on designing your campsite and building relationships with the villagers without being constantly nudged to buy Leaf Tickets.
The amount of content here is staggering—years of seasonal events and furniture items are all baked into the progression. It’s incredibly satisfying to unlock a grand prize through gameplay effort rather than a loot box. For anyone who loved the original but fell off because of the live-service fatigue, this is the perfect way to return to the campsite. It's cozy, it's complete, and it's a testament to why this franchise is so beloved.
Over 100 cute animals to meet
Thousands of items to craft and collect
Seasonal events and gardening challenges
No in-app purchases or subscription required
Talk to the animals visiting the different recreation spots. Fulfilling their requests for fish or fruit builds your friendship level. Once a friendship is high enough, you can invite them to live at your campsite permanently!
Collect materials like cotton, wood, and steel to order furniture from Cyrus. You can design your campsite to be a cozy cafe, a rock concert stage, or a peaceful garden—the choice is yours.
This is a one-time purchase version that does not require an internet connection or have microtransactions.
i am a former ac:pc player and a couple months ago i found out that it shut down. [well, i remembered it shut down a couple days ago!] i saw this game and i thought it looked fun!! so i downloaded it. its the same exact experience as the original ac:pc was, but it has NO PAYWALLS!! im so happy about that, because it was a little annoying when there was that subscription in the original one. and now you can just buy it in one single purchase [10 dollars is a bargainnnn] for it! im actually really happy that nintendo decided to make it be no paywalls, because paywalls are annoying tbh— anyways, the game also LITERALLY THROWS leaf tickets [leaf tokens now? they changed it lol] at you! the tasks that the game has gives you so many leaf tokens. and im also really excited about that because i used to struggle a lot in the original ac:pc to get fortune cookies because it was hard to get leaf tickets [tokens now lol]. and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE fortune cookies!!! anyways, i went to shovelstrike quarry to get 20 LEAF TOKENS from the task for going to it!! also, the villagers are just as cute as they were before, they will always be adorable! :3 so yeah! 10 dollars is so cheap for all of this amazing stuff!! im super happy that nintendo made this decision to make ac:pc be even better. thanks nintendo!!! :D
Before it became “complete” we had other human campers around too we could shop from or add to our friends and also visit their campsites and help them in their gardens. That’s gone now and I’m bummed about it. I miss being able to explore and share and buy things from others. It would be cool if we could buy furniture and clothes from them too if the features ever came back. Another one is buying more tickets when they are gone. I run out of tickets so fast and I feel like the golden “complete” tickets are so sparse. I really miss being able to purchase from inside the app. I miss also having Lottie challenges that either went with the event or cookies released in that time. Also in the Whistle Pass I was under the impression that we would be able to decorate and modify that too, but unfortunately we can’t and it’s bland. One new thing I wish you guys would add is to have animals on each floor of the cabin. Like 8 slots per floor. That way we can have more friends staying and using up the space we work so hard to decorate. I would like to add this idea to the camper too with maybe 2 characters per floor there as well :) oh and give us the option to buy treats! I love leveling up my characters! Basically, I wish you guys would bring back all of the old stuff as well and add to it. Cause I was under the assumption that “complete” meant everything we already had and then some. Please and thank you! <3
More taken away than added, Whistle Pass is cute and it’s nice to see the friends we once had and receiving a gift a day and 2 attempts at shovel strike quarry. Unfortunately everyone who said good bye in their names before the online game ended sill always have that name. Shovel Strike Quarry should offer maps instead of crafting material, most ends up getting sold instead of excess going into the mailbox. What happened to My Nintendo points? Why was the HH for Events and Fortune Cookies taken away? Why weren’t the empty spots where friend’s campers were filled with a couple trees. Why can’t the Friends at Whistle Pass give the fruit we did not get, the lemons, grapes or lychee or this trees given to everyone while filling up the empty spots? The first Garden event, only a few flower seeds were given, not like before, had to buy seeds several times. Since there is no competition between friends during the fishing tourney, why can’t the golden pole be purchased instead of rented? After 6 of the 7 years I’ve played this game, I would rather see more crafting supply maps than bells/mega bells maps. Understandable there may be new players or some who played online may have started fresh but for those who just continued the bells maps really aren’t needed while the crafting materials are to send off Gulliver’s Ship would be used more. Also all auto trek of the maps should have the ability to be purchased with bells. I can see this game getting boring fast like the other versions.
I started playing the original Pocket Camp game in 2022, and I’ve been playing it until it was discontinued. I loved the original one- it was like the mainstream Animal Crossing games, but on your phone. The only downside with that one is that some cool features such as picking a camp caretaker and picking extra fortune cookies was something you had to pay for monthly. Well, in this new version, all of the monthly subscriptions are included in the game! I like this game even more than the original because there is so much more to do! The special currency (it was leaf tickets, now it’s leaf tokens) is now much easier to get compared to the original, so you can buy more things. For example, I always had about 20 leaf tickets at a time, but now I have 400 leaf tokens! Some things I’ve always wanted to do in the original was change my camp theme, have a camp caretaker, and get more special furniture without having to save up for months. I can do that now and it makes me so happy! Overall, I really really love this game and I love the new features! I would recommend it to anyone who loves cozy, relaxing games where you can decorate and talk with animal friends! It is definitely worth the money! Thank you for taking the time to read this :) ✨
I have had the free one for a long time so when i saw this was coming out, i was excited and i like a lot of the new features. everything's not hidden behind a pay wall, leaf tickets are easier to get, and so on. but there a bug i am experiencing where i can click on all my animals, except the one thats my helper!! its been going on for a few days, sometimes it lets me but it hasn’t in awhile, i cant even talk to my helper if i wanted to because it just pulls up the left striped loading screen but it never loads. i cant click on him, i cant click on the book itself, it will not load either way so my helper hasn’t been able to do what he is meant to do because i cannot gather his collected items. i think this should be looked at! its the only issue i keep encountering, everything else is great! the characters, clothing and furniture, events! i definitely recommend this game, i find it to be funner than new horizons, but i hope they fix this issue. edit: with events, you can usually give a gift to your favorite animal. my favorite animal is also my campsite helper, i have not been able to interact or change my campsite helper which is very frustrating, i hope this gets looked at soon!
While I initially appreciated that Nintendo was giving its players the opportunity to continue playing this game after they decided to cease supporting it, I now regret paying $10 for it (there was a discounted price offered to players when they first transitioned to Complete). I’m not sure why they kept the Friends feature when there are no updates to my Friends’ cards and they seem forever frozen in Halloween / Christmas attire when the original game ended. I only realized my Friends’ cards weren’t being updated because the only in-game friend that I know irl was surprised to see her avatar and level didn’t reflect her recent changes. This actually makes looking at my Friends’ cards pretty depressing as it’s a constant reminder that the game is actually dead and this is just a prolonged goodbye as I can’t bring myself to take it off life support. But the worst part that makes me regret purchasing this is the fact that it no longer saves any changes to your account to the cloud so that you can redownload your most recent data to other devices. I recently purchased a new device and downloaded Complete only to discover that it didn’t save any of the updates I made over the past 6 months. I realize that Nintendo is trying to phase out Animal Crossing Pocket, but I don’t understand why it’s so difficult on their part to allow us to backup our data. Now I wish I had just cut my ties to this game when they announced they were ending it rather than continue this depressing goodbye.
When I heard there was a new pocket camp game coming out I was both a little upset and excited. For a game that was entirely free before i expected there to be a lot more added for it being $10 now. there is a new location but it’s completely useless all that you go there for is to ask for quarry help and watch concerts ie kk slider. There’s absolutely no interaction with friends which makes all the “new perks” of making journal content purchasable irrelevant. you can’t gift friends or literally anything. My favorite thing about the new game is the replacement currency of whatever the cash was called. Another thing I actually like is the fact that you can upload clothes from new horizons into your pocket camp game, that’s honestly my favorite feature. Everything’s a little cheaper and hopefully they stay attainable. there’s not enough added to the game though it’s pretty much exactly the same except different in ways that are not likable to anyone who’s been playing this game for at least a year. to deactivate a game that’s been around for 7 years that has a ginormous platform of daily players and then charge them $10 for the same game other than ONE new feature and reused subscription data (now free because we paid $10) None of the subscriptions were good enough to continuously do month after month so yeah forcing people to buy this game ig was the only way you were gonna use that subscription content. its just messed up and i’m very sad to say that i’m severely disappointed because i loveddddd this game.
This game is definitely better and less money crazed than the previous game but still deleting everyone’s progress and reuploading the game and forcing the free to play players to pay for it is still wrong. And the game is still lacking for the 20$ price tag. The graphics could have been improved and there are many other flaws that need fixed. Like materials. It is almost impossible to keep materials like wood, cloth, and etc stocked up so it is impossible to craft items. The market used to be a good way to get these and fruit that doesn’t grow on your island, but now it has been removed from the game. Also we need to change the fortune cookie system because it takes way to long for them to refresh the stock. Like change them out every day instead of having them on there for days to a week. I don’t care about these holiday items and it annoys me that there is no way to get furniture I want to try to get without having to use a seasonal ticket. Just make the cookies refresh daily. But other than these things the game is flawless. So I would still say it was worth the money since it is way easier to afford everything that would have taken thousands of leaf currency to get in the previous title.
