SquadBuilt Inc. has made a noticeable leap forward with American Farming 2. Shifting the core release to a broader free-to-play foundation while maintaining rich, licensed machinery makes this iteration far more accessible without scaling back the mechanical depth fans expect from American agricultural simulators. The centerpiece is easily the expansive Indiana map, which captures rural Midwestern topography with impressive fidelity for a mobile title.
Operating high-horsepower machinery from brands like Case IH, New Holland, and Fendt feels tactile and satisfying. What really elevates the experience over previous entries is the refined AI worker logic. Instead of constantly micromanaging basic plowing or grain transport, you can genuinely delegate responsibilities across your crew, turning the game into a captivating blend of vehicle simulation and strategic empire management. While low-end hardware may experience occasional frame drops during massive multi-vehicle operations, continuous patch optimizations show clear dedication from the developers. It is easily one of the most complete farming sims on the App Store today.
Massive authentic Indiana map with diverse agricultural sites
Officially licensed machinery including Case IH, New Holland, Fendt, and Massey Ferguson
Advanced AI worker and driver management system
Free-to-play progression from starter farm to commercial agriculture titan
Comprehensive livestock, crop, and terrain handling systems
Begin your journey with basic machinery and modest field acreage. Focus on completing initial harvest contracts, managing cash flow, and learning terrain navigation across the authentic Midwest farmland.
As your field count increases, hire AI workers to perform repetitive tasks like plowing, sowing, and harvesting. Assign fleet transport routes to maintain seamless logistics between silos and selling points.
Reinvest profits into higher horsepower tractors, wider implements, and specialized animal housing. Reinvest in cattle and hog operations to create secondary revenue streams beyond field crops.
Drive officially licensed machinery from top agricultural manufacturers. Maneuver heavy implements across terrain with authentic vehicle physics, hitching dynamics, and working field tools.
Delegate tasks across multiple map regions simultaneously. Command AI drivers to transport grain, manage field boundaries, and balance field labor with supply distribution.

So this is my second comment the first one I made I talked about how my game was crashing constantly and in on iPhone 13 and I noticed today that there was an update to fix the crashing and I got very exited bc I’ve been wanting to play very bad but once I updated my game and tried to play I could barely see a difference in crashing but I can play for about 1 and a half before it kicks me but that is not long enough for my game to save so I have to restart every time so I really hope you guys can get another update that actually fixes the problem thank you Squad Build inc
I downloaded the original American Farming when it first came out. This new version is pretty enjoyable. I enjoy not having to park the equipment myself, the ability to have AI workers drive to actual locations, and how thorough the tutorial and Help section is. However, I do wish my farms (from the original and new) could connect so I could enjoy both and the previous purchases I made. Probably difficult to do something like that though. The night time setting is really infuriating for me. I can barely see at all, even after adjusting the settings available to me. I actually exited the game to play the original because of it. I also cannot retrieve corn that I stored to feed my hogs on one of my farms. Looking forward to the upcoming updates though! The Squad is doing a great job!
I love this game. I’ve only had it for a few days but the days that I’ve played have been amazing. I haven’t had any problems with the game crashing like some people have. The improvements from AF to AF2 are really good. I started with a small Beef farm and the cows look really good. I really like the American flag bale wrap. I would definitely like to see them partner with Deere and get some of their vehicles and equipment in the game. I’m just loving this game. Also Ive been watching The Squad videos and multiplayer look like a lot of fun. The helicopter looks super fun to fly in. I just love this game. Great job Squad!!
Great map a lot bigger than the last two. Good equipment, looks good, plays good on my phone but will not run on my iPad. It would be great with some performance improvements. And lastly the dlc is very expensive for mobile. But the main game is free so I’m not too upset with the dlc. Overall great game definitely worth the download and thank you for making it free. Super looking forward to multiplayer as well.
It’s a great game but we need skid steers and compact track loaders where they can be the older Case skid steers like the 1845C, 430 Series 3 skid steer and the new SR B series and the new SV B series and the 430CT Series 3 and the new TR B series and the new TV B series depending on what the player can afford in the game and make it so they are base game and not a DLC because not everyone can afford the DLC’s where they are cheaper and have pallet forks, bucket and bale spears for them and we also need a loader option for all the older 2 wheel drive tractors if we can’t afford the more expensive tractors with loaders
I’ve always been a fan of the squad and always wanted a good farming game for my phone for when I’m on the road and or without WiFi available. I’ve been hooked since the original one came out and just got this one and it gave me the same vibes since the original came out. Even friends at my school who don’t know much about farming like this game. They did a very good job on this and can’t wait to see what that add to make it even better.
Great game but the haying could use some work. The first time I got onto the game everything was working properly and then I got off and then got back on after a little bit. and then none of the grass was in the rows from the mower. It was like polkadotted all over the field, and then the rake was a little delayed. And when I was baling it wouldn’t pick up all of the hay and would only pick up some of it. It was also really delayed.
It is a good game, but I don’t know if it’s my phone or what my friend got it and I was really excited for it and I just tried to load in and it kicks me off and it won’t let me play this American Farming one did this when I bought a money pack on my iPad, but then I got a new iPhone and it worked fine and now this isn’t working at all for me, but other than that, it’s a very good game
