I love it, but…

Hi, so I don’t really write reviews but I have a lot to say about Idol Land Pripara. Now I am super passionate about Pripara, but this game has some noticeable flaws like how everything is so expensive. Almost all the coords you would want cost gold idol dollars, which cost real money. There is also no English version of the game, which I personally don’t have a huge issue with- but I know that others overseas do. Please make an English version if possible! Also I wish there were more songs available to perform. A lot of them cost gold idol dollars, which like I said cost real money. Basically meaning that we have to perform the same songs over and over again. There is also the Photo Booth. In the Photo Booth there are barely any poses so a lot of the pictures end up looking repetitive. Please add more poses! Other than that this game is great!! I love the coords, I love the Yume Gacha, the idol profile, the concept of being able to create your own Pripara idol, and I have lots of fun playing Idol Land Pripara!

The app is ok. There’s good aspects to it like being able to make your own character, and do live shows and photoshoots. But there’s a lot of bad aspects to it too that overshadow the good aspects, like a lot of the outfits cost the gold currency which you can only get by spending real money. The same thing with songs. There’s a bunch of songs that cost gold currency too, and only a handful of free songs. Which makes it annoying to not only play the same few songs for live shows, but also finding the “promises” to join, because it’s either you don’t have the outfit or you don’t have the song. I spend more time hitting the refresh button than actually playing “promises”. I get that it’s a gacha game and all, but it’s 100% possible to be able to give small amounts of gold currency as rewards from doing things in-game and still have the option to purchase more. Especially since the gacha only takes gold currency. Also the shop should have more outfits that cost blue currency, I feel there’s not enough outfits and that I’m constantly using the same ones. And then lastly, there should be more modes to play besides “promises”, “movies”, “shop”, and “photobooth”. With all of the buildings that’s in the background when in the main homescreen, there should be more things to do. Just a thought.

I’ve been a Pripara fan for years. The only game I’ve ever been able to play was the Switch one so when I heard there was a mobile game coming out I was very excited. But my excitement was quickly crushed. Other than the terrible launch it feels like everything is behind a paywall, and an expensive one at that. You are paying ludicrous amounts of money for outfits and most of the songs cost money as well. Other than the two new free songs the others are all on the Switch game. If you are not in Japan and want to play a Pripara game I highly recommend Pripara All Idol Perfect Stage over this.

I do see the issue with the language barrier, but I really enjoyed the game and its cuteness though I couldn’t understand a thing, I got a hang of the rhyme game and how to control everything since this isn’t my first time playing a game with a different language!

I love Pripara, and i know this is a gacha app, but CMON. a lot of the iconic cyalume coords are being locked behind the golden currency, if you were to get three full sets of cyalume coords your best option would be the $70 gold coin selection. $70. 70!!! For 3 outfits!! They should either increase the gold coins you can get with in app purchases, or decrease the cost of those outfits

Um I am having an issue, there has been a loading test for two days now and I can’t play the game due to this problem, can anyone please tell me when this loading test will end so we can play the game over in America? Thank you.
